Tim Graham from ESPN reports that Bess and Camarillo are at the top in third down conversion completions.

Davone Bess ranks second in the NFL with 19 third-down receptions. Greg Camarillo has 12 of them, and all have gained first downs.

and:

Bess is next on the third-down list with 19 catches for 138 yards and 14 conversions but no touchdowns.
The blog also goes on to say:

Camarillo, San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates and Baltimore Ravens receiver Kelley Washington are the only three players that have converted every one of their double-digit receptions on third down.

Gates has 13 catches for 13 first downs. Camarillo (140 yards) and Washington (156 yards) are 12 for 12.

Wow, these two are really becoming Henne's go to guys on third down and the best thing about it is most of the times they are converting. If only we had a true #1 WR I think we would have a really good perhaps great offense.

They do the best with what they have, but the stat is a little misleading. We end up with a lot of 3rd and shorts.

Really? 12 for 12 for 140 yards is greater than 10 yards a catch. Greg also has one of the top catch percentages in the NFL at 87%. He is an excellent receiver.
