The Mike Florio Dolphins Bashing Tour Continues...

I see the rose-colored glasses are beginning to come off....welcome to the "dark side."

I have not said much about Philbin, because I am reserving judgement on him. Maybe he will be good...but right now, he better be the next Don Shula or this team is in for at least another 3 years of crap teams...

Yea it has been kind of interesting at all the interest in the players and how good and bad they are but nothing has been mentioned about the coaching staff and how they measure up so much.

Sherman just got canned from college that is the freshest news we have on him as our offensive coordinator.
Our defensive coordinator from the Bengals was just in charge of their secondary.
Phibin was not even the offensive coordinator at Greenbay.
Basically all I have seen is Omar mentioning Philbin is smart and funny!
The best information that I say about our coaching staff is about Kacy Rogers and our Special Teams coach both holdovers from last years staff and they have probably the best track records of our current coaching staff next to the the defensive back coach from the Bengals. We shall see. The practices sound like they are going pretty decent but thats from the beat reporters perspective it will be interesting to see the reports on this web site when the fans can attend.

While we received a lot of unfair criticism over the Fisher, Manning, and Flynn ordeals, I believe the media is right this time in saying we were desperate for WR help.

I agree we need help at WR, but how is Chad a bad move for us?? We lose nothing if he sucks we just cut him after TC. I am not high on the signing but can't see where it is a bad move. As for the other moves, Manning wasn't coming here, and Flynn wasn't WANTED here. If Flynn would have been wanted here he would be here. As for Fisher, he might be old school and too much run oriented but I did truely want him. I have always thought he was a class act and got the most out of his players. Not sure I like or dislike Philbin yet. There are a few red flags already popping up that are starting to scare me, but I will give him the benifit of the doubt until he gives me reason to think otherwise. Pulling for Philbin but not sure he is the answer.

To be truthful. I have never worn rose colored glasses.. I too have been sitting back patiently waiting to see what Philbin is all about.. I'm hoping he is the next Shula.. but fearful he is the next Sparano or Wannstedt

So.............why did the patriots sign him last seasson? No one Questioned that move, Oh it was a great signing.

Well Don Shula ain't coming back to coaching, and you know Tennessee let Fisher go, you just don't let good coaches walk.
