The MNF crew Said The Dolphins....

beat 2 good teams!!

And they still got a chance says theismann!!

Joe Theismann loves the Dolphins IMO

He hates the hurricanes with a passion. Dunno if that is just a Hurricane - ND thing or a Miami thing.

But I lost all respect/trust for the guy after he said Notre Dame would never do something so thuggish as fighting on field when his Notre Dame team originated the on field brawl. That's like the epitome of calling the kettle black.

I herd that too. I was doing my art homework and focusing very hard down at the table. All of the sudden, I herd the word Dolphins and then I starting paying attention. I just love hearing the Dolphins being mentioned in the football world again. Give us two more wins, then we will be thrown into that contender pretender segment they are doing right now as well.

Ya' know, it's really funny. Prior to the Chicago game I wrote a very long piece on the Dolphins biggest problem. After studying game and highlight films from 2005, I saw a certain passion and intensity. In the first 7 games of 2006, this team lacked all of those necessities big time and it took some insults from Kooch to spark this team. I just hope they can keep it up for the remainder of the year.

Weren't you, a couple of weeks ago, hoping we'd tank and get a top 3 pick? My my my how the tides have changed. :D

Any I'm almost certain he was the one who said we would pick in the top 3 of the 2006 draft after the Dolphins started 3-7 last year. Seems to lose the faith pretty quickly.

Joe Theisman is a jackhole. He's actually gotten more un-listenable since the MNF switch. His ego is the size of the Empire State Building now cuz he's the only one there with football experience. He takes over every conversation like he's spouting gospel. At best, he's become John Madden Light - all the lame quotes, but 1/3 less funny.

Didn't the Dolphins draft Theismann before he played in Canada?

I don't know if it was him or not but I saw alot of that "let's lose out to get a high draft pick" talk. I myself really thought the season was finished but I never wanted the Phins to lose.

Well, I think there's a huge difference in WANTING your team to lose and EXPECTING your team to lose. For me, the latter was true of the Chicago game. (But NEVER the former). I didn't expect (nor did almost any non-biased fan) a 31-13 win, but I'm darn happy it happened.

Not passing judgment on anyone wanting the Fish to lose (for a high pick), I just think it's analagous to fixing a cut on your finger by amputating.

Although to play Devil's Advocate, why must people's posts be positive? A 1-6 doesn't leave one with a feeling of immense Dolphin pride. No need for us Fish fans to live in denial... our team struggled like crazy for 7 games. It kinda comes with the territory.
