Things were actually going to be turned around in Miami..., other than "the Trifecta" - for me it was signing J Long prior to the 08 draft...
Easy answer, the minute they announced Parcells was coming. Some will argue he doesn't build championship teams, but you cannot argue with the fact that the man knows football and football players.
As the 07 season dragged on I was hoping that Parcells would come save us. When it happened I knew things were finally going to start going the other way.
I was kind of hoping to leave the Trifecta out of the equation that for all of us is a given.... We all exhaled when he replaced CAMRAM...Just as FINSFAN_IN_IRAQ said as soon as BP was hired I knew all would be good, I just didn't think it would be this good this quickly.
We're also better off then most of the teams he help before because he's put in place a stable of talent in the FO to ensure a lengthy stay on top.
Week 5 against San Diego last year, it was after the dominating performance against the pats, and it verified that it wasn't a fluke and we could beat the good teams...

also specifically in that game, the goal line stand with the stop of LT on 4th down... that was a play that just one year prior would have been a TD and led to us most likely losing that game... basically Chambers had just scored to make it 17-10, then on the kickoff Bess fumbles and the Chargers recover... right there it looks like same ol' 2007 Fins... they end up 1st and goal from the 10, and on 3rd down Chambers makes a catch and gets stopped at the 1 yard line... giving up a score there would have been a HUGE momentum turn and really crushed us, instead we stop them, we take momentum, and hold on to win...
very defining moment that we were turning the corner...
