It just doesnt bother me anymore when this team loses. Its been the same lackluster performance under the Philbin era for years now and I think we finally figured out with the Bills game, Tannehill is NOT the answer to our prayers. Its the sad truth to this team, I see 7-9, 8-8 at best with this team. Though I will no longer get upset over them losing because its almost just expected with Tannehill and Philbin at the helm.

If the Fins fall flat again this year it iwll be interesting to see what happens this off season. I personally like Hickey and want him to stay, but how will things go down, no one knows.

Lets hope they get their crap together these upcoming weeks,.

I think this is still a 10-11 win team. I didn't think they were going to go 16-0 and I figured they'd probably go in and get curbstomped by the Bills yesterday. We still have a chance to be 3-1 at the quarter point, and both of our upcoming games are better matchups for us -- especially with Jamaal Charles gimpy and possibly out for week 3.

Keep in mind, there is potential for better play in this team. Whether you are completely out on the QB or not, he WILL get better with experience in the offensive system. It might take 8 weeks like it did for Carson Palmer last season (when he was a completely different player in the back half of the season), or it might happen after the bye, or it might happen in December. But he's not suddenly going to get worse from being coached by a guy who isn't Mike Sherman's son-in-law and getting more reps in the system.

Mike Pouncey is going to come back. Billy Turner might get a shot at right guard. Bill Lazor might realize that Charles Clay is best used downfield and not 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Koa Misi should get healthy again (Jason Trusnick is BAD).

IMO to give up at 1-1 after a road loss to an emotional team built to beat you is throwing in the towel way too soon.

I agree. Fans should start accepting the hard and sad truth about thill. I started feeling like he may not be the one after that implosion vs the bills last year (both games). I wanted SOOO BAD for him to be the answer. It truly sucks man.

I like Hickey too, his picks and FA signings are on the field and playing well, something Ireland couldn't accomplish. If Philbin is canned hopefully Hickey can stick around to pair with Harbaugh if he is let go by fran.

I think we will continue being an 8-8 team until we get a franchise QB, better receivers and running backs. It's still a league based on offense and we just have no consistency on offense.

:puke:

Watching the 49er's implode (especially last night). Seeing Crapernick not develop and continually make horrible choices from the pocket. Rumors of Jim losing the locker room. And people still want for him to be our HC?

That has wash, rinse, repeat in another 3-4 years written all over it. I'm not clamoring for Philbin. I just don't get the "love" for Horriblebaugh.

Totally agree, I had a bad feeling about this game after watching the pregame coverage and the amount of emotion in that stadium. I think this is being overlooked by many. Throw in a very good D line that did not allow our offense to get in a groove and quiet the crowd.

I am as down as anyone about the game. There was nothing enjoyable about watching that yesterday, but I think this is a playoff team and cant wait for next week to wash this taste out of my mouth.

The guy coached his team to the superbowl, he's a fiery dude and very competitive something that Philbin lacks. Those are qualities that motivate a team. He seems like a winner to me.

And yes, I know I am an insane, overly optimistic homer to have predicted 10-11 wins. I will gladly take your ridicule at the end of the season if we do wind up going 7-9. It will be deserved.

My sentiments exactly. I'm not saying Tannehill is any sort of long term answer, but I'm in the minority of folks who think he can and will play better than that moving forward

My two issues...
1. A hungry, desperate and well coached KC team coming to Sun Life.
2. A QB that is NOT improving.

I cannot get over those things right now.

They will win between 7-9 games because that is what we do. I am sick of the Buffalo was built to beat us theory though. No GM in the AFC East builds a team to beat the Dolphins! They gun for the Pats because they are top dog. Buffalo beats us because our oline is for hunger, and we find creative ways to shoot ourself in the foot!

Real bad game yesterday,I am still pissed,we all knew this was going to be a tough team to beat.
WE always seem to play like crap vs the jills.I am not throwing in the towel after this loss.
Next game we kick some KC ass!!!

Hey man I thought you were dead

More fair to say that they match up well against us?

I will be right there to demand changes when the season ends, or if we go in the tank and drop 5 straight. But we certainly aren't there yet.

They won't tank! We probably lose to KC and beat Oakland, after the bye week who knows!?!? Problem I see as the more weeks go by that our deep game blows the more defenses are going to load up.
