Before clicking on the article Im guessing C.Barkley and D.Marino are both top 5 if not top 3. There are quite a few football players to choose from though, Barry Sanders never won one right?
Actually I bring you right to the Dan Marino slide however they have him as the 16th slide out of 30. Not sure of the significance.
It's alphabetical.
The fact that three of my favorite players on two of my favorite teams (Marino, Barkley, Iverson) are on this list may explain my deep-seated angst.
Iverson was a QB in high school and he once said he was the best QB in the state. Of course high school and the NFL are too different things but he was very talentedFunny you point that out. Iverson is my favorite NBA player of all time, Marino is without question my favorite athlete of all time. I wasn't as big a fan of Barkley the player as I am Barkley the person. He's crazy but brutally honest. I wasn't a Sixers fan during Barkley's tenure, I was a pathetic Bulls fan like every other kid who grew up in the 80's.
I was at game 3 of the 2001 NBA finals. AI almost carried that team to a title single handedly against a juggernaut roster in LA.
I would've loved to have watched Allen Iverson on the football field. His physical talents we're better suited for basketball obviously but you could see the football mentality he brought to the hardwood.
I am not going to talk about Dan Marino. Don't need to. This is Finheaven.com. We all feel the same, nuff said.
I Karl Malone wins a couple rings he's probably consider a top 2 PF and a top 10 all time player.
Crazy how the 2 dominant WR's of the late 90's early 2000's Moss and Owens didn't even get 1 championship between them.
IF Ken Griffey Jr didn't have so much injuries he probably ends up the all time home run king. What a shame, what could have been.
