IMO, the ,most important aspect of yesterdays game is not what it does for the Fins in the standings, its not that Sage played so well, not that Ricky and Ronnie scored in the same game, not that Chambers set records, not that Pope and Crowder showed they can be stars, not that Howard proved again he shouldnt be in the league...................etc

The most important aspect of yesterdays game was what its going to do for the mentality of the new Nick Saban lead Miami Dolphins. Its the fact that they never quit, its the fact that they kept fighting all through some horrible penalties and some horrible calls. Its the fact that they kept true to what Saban preaches everyday, and thats Tackling, finishing strong, fundamentals and character.

I dont know about the rest of you Fins fans, but yesterday I truly believe we saw the start of a new era. I know we have already won this year, but this win is different. Yesterday the Fins set the tone for what its going to be like to play in South Florida from now on, and they set the tone for what its going to take to beat the Miami Dolphins PERIOD, and that is your absolute best effort for 60 minutes, your best coaching effort, your best players playing their best and your role players playing their roles. Buffalo found out yesterday that having all of those things going at the same time is almost impossible and especially when playing against a group of Fins who dont know how to quit. I am pumped now more than ever. And I really do believe now that we have a shot at the playoffs. We need to win out, and New England needs to loose ONE more game other than agianst us and I beleive we're in based on our schedule (someone please correct me if Im wrong)

My impression of yesterday's game is very similar.

I felt that was the first time we began to see Saban's imprint on our team.

The other thing is that we have been over-achieving not underachieving probably for a few years now. This team is a long way from where it needs to be to win the East and compete in the playoffs.

He is so upbeat and positive I think because he knows we are lacking in talent.

Wright looked like a very good pick up...

I agree that this is what Saban wants, but there are comebacks every year. I'm not ready to declare that this team has proven to be any different or that Saban has worked some magic.

I *think* NE would still win the Division based on division record. I could be wrong though.

NE has to lose at least 3 of their remaining 4 games, and we need to win all 4 of ours.

If Saban can get these players to play like this when they are 4-7 he is going to be a great coach for years to come. This team for the past 4 years would have gotten blown out even worse under the last regime, but this is a whole new team playing with a ton of heart. It was great to watch, makes you all warm and fuzzy inside.

the effort was very important and the win will reinforce sabans teachings and give confidence
