The Most Underrated NFL player(s)

i'd have to agree with the guy 2 posts above me, trent green is a really great QB with no wideouts to throw to yet somehow he still leads one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL

Green is good but the Chiefs have the clear cut #1 offensive line in the NFL.

Underrated - David Carr - All the media hype is around Eli Manning and Carson Palmer, but David Carr is currently the best young quarterback in the NFL.

His long hairdo impresses the ladies but I really haven't been that impressed with him. I've been more impressed with Palmer. Carr has a year on Palmer and I expect Carson to be better than him in 2005.

That's a very interesting pick since Carr apparently wasn't able to progress past his first read for just about the whole second half of last season due to OL play. He does have Andre Johnson to throw to, though -- AJ would be on my list of underrated players ahead of Carr to tell you the truth.

The most underrated Dolphin if you ask me is Marty Booker. Too few people here seem to really understand what he brings to the table. It's hard for me to choose a NFL's most underrated player given what happened last year in Indy (Marvin Harrison is finally not the guy). I'll give a call to Marcus Robinson. He's a very nice roleplayer to have these days. If David Boston can become that off of his lost seasons, this team will be in great shape at WR.

That maybe true but they also have the worst set of starting wrs for a great offense. Eddie Kennison and Morton last year? Kennison and Parker this year? Ewwwww.

Gotta give Green props for making that group look good despite the 23745745 balls they drop every year

He also has Priest Holmes and Tony G. to throw to. I'm not shedding tears for him. His receiver situation is better than the Dolphin situation was prior to trading for Marty Booker.

Nuh uh. I would take Mcmike, Chambers and RW to throw to over Priest, Gonzo and Morton. The KC wr's are complete garbage. Green lets them eat or theyd have been cut long ago. Kennison can burn but has hands made of stone and Morton is a ballsy player who will take the hit but not make the catch.

Bar none it has to be ..

ADRIAN WILSON

The guy is a top 5 safety that is hidden in 'Zona

Yup! you got it. Adrian Wilson. No1 ever talks about him b/c of where he plays. But the guy is always around the ball. Truly one of the best safteys in the game.

I think Bobby Engram of the Seahawks has been lacking in press for years. The guy is clutch as a 3rd receiver, tough as nails, and rarely drops anything. I'm sure Hasselbeck appreciates him. Who knows, he might even have a shot as a starter this year, but he seems to work best out of the slot.

Long snappers are likely the most underrated NFL players. What they do is amazing to me, at least.
Actually, it's not that hard to do. I played alot of ball in my day and that always came naturally to me. You're basically throwing an upside down pass. If you can zip a spiral standing up, just put another hand on the ball, **** your wrists and pop it. The real problem is having the balls to snap the game winning kick in the state championship game...that will make your jewels shrivel up and look for a place to hide.

I think Carson Palmer is the best young player in the league, and the Bengals have kinda "poor man's" triplets, in Palmer, Johnson, and Rudi. I think you've got the right team in the most underrated player, but Andre Johnson is a stud, and I believe he is the most underrated player in the league. The defensive player who I believe is underrated would be Keith Bullock.
