Do you think Mullarkey's in depth knowledge of Buffalos players will help us prepare for the Bills? I think it would be an edge we have..

I'm not to impressed with Mularky thus far. He calls the play right? Anyway, this weekend would be a good time for him to change my initial oppion.

How can you say you aren't impressed after one game, the playcalling wasn't the greatest but you can't judge after one game, besides I don't think the Bills have any of the same coaching staff so they're playcalling and playbook will be different.

I'm not saying I'm throwing him under the bus, just that he really disappointment in that first game. I hate how how early he abondonded the run.

But that was been the book on Mularkey. Both Steeler fans and Bills fans said that when we got him -- his playcalling was horrible. I personally didn't think it was that bad. Bad execution may give bad impressions of the playcalling. At any rate, I'll withhold judgement until after a few games.

Oh, ok the last thing I want to see is another post bashing a coach or player on the fins.

Not at all, I am one of the few who hasn't completely lost all hope.

Well the funny thing about this, which everyone is IGNORING, is when the sideline reporter (Andrea Kramer??) came back from halftoime she said she spoke to Nick Saban and he said the Dolphins need to OPEN UP THE OFFENSE in the 2nd half. Maybe Malarkey was urged to pass more????

I think he meant more in terms of stretching the field, more play action and possibly trick plays. In the first half, we were running up the middle, and taking short and intermidiate routes. The second half, the offense did a whole lot better and I think that is a direct correlation of the attempt to stretch the field vertically and get Chambers more involved. I'd like to see a much better balance this next week.

If the offense doesn't perform up to par for a couple games then I think Saban will make him come down to the sideline like with Linehan last year.

Maybe he shouldn't wait till the season is lost this time around. I've never liked the idea of coaches/coordinators working in the both. They need the face to face interaction with their players.

I couldn't agree more with that.

So, you're willing to give him TWO games to earn YOUR trust? :sidelol:

don't forget it goes both ways. The players on the BIlls know his system as much as he knows the bills players. Probably won't make a difference either way.
