You mean to tell me that teams in the N.F.L. have the nerve to keep their best players? You must be kidding me! So I guest we won't be getting the best free agents at every position of need for our beloved Dolphins? Wow you mean we might have to draft our future championship team over the next couple of years and add a few middle of the road free agents along the way? This cannot be real I was hoping every GM in the N.F.L was an idiot only looking out for the best interest of our team.

i dont get your point. all FA talk on this board has been clearly speculation. and everyone has had the clause of "if this guy is let go" teams dont let their best players go because they are "stupid" or "idiots". they do it because they cant afford it or the player contradicts the direction in which the team is going.

I don't disagree with your point, but some players need not be considered for our team if you understand what our fo is trying to build here. Why start a thread about a lb our a dt that was cut from a team going to a 34 defense and suggest he be brought in for our 34 defense. Why suggest that we will get 3 or 4 TOP FREE AGENTS at our positions of need instead of understanding the way the NFL works and realizing this is unrealistic. The NFL is not college football where you can bring in 4 or 5 five star recruits every year.

There are a lot of smart guys on this board that do think with "high hopes" within reason. Those are the guys I like talking with on here. I like reading a post about us getting guys that have a good chance of coming to our team not 15 all pros coming in one off season!
