I don't know if we would be able to sign that many FA's. Especially if one is Samuel. But I like what I see.
 
improved oline....Miami will run alot and use Ronnie at best!!! The QB of the future could be Beck Or Flacco??? THe defense could be Solid rock... The 3-4 looks great.... hard to run on with fat Rogers clogging the middle....I have hope
 
First, Samuel is going to break the bank. I see him easily commanding the same kind of money that Nate Clements got. Whereas he's a good CB, I'd rather see them keep some of the money that he's going to command and go after a lesser option, such as his teammate Randal Gay.

Otherwise, not a bad job at all.

Trent Green might start at QB...and Chatman as a backup FB doesnt mean hes gona play fullback
 
No way will Jesse Chatman re-sign with us. He's a free agent, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him follow Cameron to Baltimore.

I also don't see Rex Hadnot back with the team. He's a free agent looking for a $6M per year contract. No way is he worth that.

Channing Crowder can void his deal and become a restricted free agent. I'd imagine they will let him leave. He's one of the least productive starting LB in the NFL.

No way will we be shelling out $10M per season for Asante Samuel. Samuel excels in the zone scheme used by New England, and many people feel that the chances he takes would make him a potential liability in a scheme that plays more man to man. Regardless of what scheme we'll be using, that's not the kind of corner you want to spend $10M per year on.

In free agency, we are only about $25M under the cap. We'll cut more players to increase that, but when you cut players, you also take cap hits. Ultimately, we'll wind up at about $30M under the cap. And even still, that's only about middle of the pack among NFL teams. We're going to need at least $15M just to sign our draft picks, because the #1 overall is going to get $10M alone. So, we're not going to be able to be big players in free agency anyway.
