is definitely not the answer. It is a joke. Once this system fails again this year, & it will, the NCAA will have no choice but to go to a 4 team playoff. Idaho with 5 points, Toledo with 3, lol, there's something wrong with that.

good. i dont know why there isnt a 4 team playoff anyways. it makes perfect sense.

not at all. i'd want no less than 12 teams in a playoff

wow, you honestly think that teams outta the top 10 deserve a national title shot? i definilty dont. plus it would put like 4 extra weeks on the season. alot of money would be lost because of them cutting out 10 bowl games.....it wouldnt be smart at all IMO to do more than top 4 playoff.

12 teams or no playoffs at all. 4 teams is boring. what would the other teams do? just play in regular bowls? the same amount of money would be lost in your system or mine

how? their all playing regular bowl games anyways. besides the 5 and 6 teams....it would all be the same for the 7 to 121(or whatever)

There is no need for more than 4. You have your normal bowl games, just the winners of the big 2 bowl games play each in a championship game. LSU would have played USC after each won there bowl games for example. Still make money off the bowl games, and add another game to make even more money and clear up and ambiguity that remains.
 
if you think any playoff will solve "all the problems" you're wrong. there are people complaining when a team is left out of the 65-team tournament in basketball. and if it's just 4 teams? just stick to the bowls, i love em
 
All this would do is add another bowl. What's not to like? But I could see where other problems would come up. I like the system also, that's why I dont think they should just dump it and go to a straight playoff system

who cares if they complain? what sucks is when you got a team like Auburn last year not having a shot at the National Title even though they were undefeated. and 2 years ago when LSU and USC had a share of the title.

there is always 1 or 2 teams that have a legitimate agrument for not being in the National Title game.

then we don't need a playoff
 
isn't the whole point to have an undisputable champion? as you said, there will still be people complaining, so who cares? what if there are 5 undefeated teams? there are going to be tons of scenarios where someone will be unsatisfied EVERY year, so just stick with what has worked, the bowls
 
so basically since people will still complain, they shouldnt change it for the better? OK.
 
The reason the give because of the integrity of the bowl.
