the new head coach should be...

If I was you guys, I'd want another Belichick disciple, Nick Saban. Weis and Crennel would be secondary choices.

Weis has another credential - addition by subtraction. He's been making Tom Brady look good for years, and he could do the same for Feeley.

I beg to differ. Its becoming pretty clear to anyone who is paying attention to the Pats, that its the other way around.

Remember Weis is the guy Parcells stripped of his OC duties with the Jets. He is innovative, but also a knucklehead.

I know college coaches rarely work but a few I would look at are:Mark Richt-Georgia, Nick Saban-LSU, Norm Chow-USC, Jim Tressel-OSU.
Out of that group I would take a long look at Saban and Chow.

Coordinators around the league: Jimmie Johnson-Philly D, Charlie Weis-Patsies O, Crennel-Pats D, Jim Fassel-Baltimore.

I think that Huizenga would want a name guy, and as much as I would not want to see this, I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Martz is given a look especially since St Louis will struggle.

I think we should go old school when we pick our next HC, and bring Art Shell outta retirement...He was a helluva coach with the Raiders.

I like Romeo Cremel a lot - love the way he changes the Pats Base D from a 3-4 to a 4-3 from play to play. Weis is a bit too unconventional imo, and could be a real frustrating coach if all the cards dont fall they way we expect.

How about everyones favorite OC - Chris Forester? Having led the offense for exactly one game, hes probably ready for full-time head coaching duty. ;) Besides, if the Dolphins had even a small portion of his luck, maybe we wouldnt be in such a jam right now. :)

Eagles Def Coordinator Jimmy Johnson would also be a great candidate.

Mark Richt....My number 1 choice.....I also like Tedford of California for his QB coaching ability.....Saban....and Ferentz.

Didn't Nick Saban just sign a huge contract with LSU?

Who is the offensive coordinator? Crennel or Weis?
Weis. And congrats, I think you are the first Dolphin fan to spell BOTH of their names right. :D
