The newtimes logo (modified) w/ helmet

We DO need a new logo/uniforms soon. As fas as I'm concerned the logo has always changed when a new 'regime' comes in. Old School Shula/ Jimmy Wandstead Era/ and now their should be a new one for the Saban are.
 
This version is improving, I must say. I prefer the "rays" on the sunburst though, especially with the simplified dolphin. Maybe a new take on them, I don't know, but I'd like to see it with rays.

Also I'm not in favor of a mean-looking dolphin. I would prefer a neutral expression or a slight smile. Or, given our Oline, I think surprise might be appropriate.

Another idea: I don't know how many points there are on that sunburst, but it would be cool to have 13 of something as a tribute to The Man.

(My vote is still squarely with the current or old logo, however)

I like the 13 points idea...that would be very cool. I don't like the dolphin though...I'm not sure why that particular one won the top spot, I didn't care for it as much as others that were submitted. But there weren't any too exciting ones though, but it's kinda a tough mascot to do. I say leave it, change the rings to 13 points...but change the jersey designs. I think DM had a good one a long time ago...I dunno how to add a pic though, i saved it on my pc.

Dolphins are supposed to be intelligent, not mean. It could be worse, we could have the Jet's logo.
 
If it has to change, I still say the helmet should be as follows:

Aqua helmet color
Orange sun (filled in, not just the outline)
White colored profile of a dolphin in the foreground positioned at around the 1/3rd point of the sun so that there is plenty of dolphin outline covering up both orange and aqua areas on the helmet

I don't have skills to make something like this, but I can see it in my head and totally approve. :)

I liked the helmet. I thought it was cute.

Ok I know that was girlie, but what do you expect?;)
 
Why do we need a new logo at all? One of the things I like about this franchise is how they don't go changeing things every few years just to sell more merchandise.
 
I like the overall look of the newer Dolphin, but that long tail is just GOOFY!!
Make the tail look like the old tail and it might be cool.

Why do we need a new logo? They just added an orange jersey not long ago. We don't need a new logo just because there is a new coach!
