are the begining of what i think is a very favorable schedual for the phins.I brought this up earlier this season and it is one of the reasons I am not panicked about this team...yet.lol...Having said that if you look at what we have coming up,KC@ home,NOaway,ATL@home,NE@home.if we can find a way to win 3 of these(especiallythe NE game)we could be 5-4 and looking to make a run. With the saints probs and what i feel are weaker defenses in KC and NE,I really think that is a strong possibility.Looking further I see basically 6 home games and only 4 road games with the saints being a toss up due to thier situation.CLE is not that good yet and oakland hasnt shown much either yet. I see the SD game and the last game in NE as the tough ones.plus 3 home games coming against div. foes, and some teams that have been weakened by injuries ..oak buf ny tenn, I really think this schedual helps us big time down the stretch. Thoughts?

Miami is not a very good team yet. So why would Cleveland or any other game not be tough ones? Take them one at a time. You cant say this is a win here or there. This is still a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

I said nothing about which games would be wins just that the schedual seems to me a little weak due to other teams struggles Especially teams like NY(qbs and now mawae)and the titans...also factoring in that i have seen many CLE games and they are not really that good.also i think the home field advantage is more ours starting now and this team seems to perform much better at home.

Oh yea and with moss and curry being out in oaktown i see that as a reason to be at least a little optimistic.

I happen to agree with you. If the fins could go 3-1 over the next 4, they would be in good shape....that being said, I don't think they will.

I see losses to the Chiefs and Falcons on tap...with a win againt the Saints and belive it or not, the Patsies...that would put us at 4-4, and in the thick of things....but I don't think this team is all that good.

They should rightfully be 1-4, to tell you the truth....I know, I know....I am not a "real fan" b/c I am so negative...

Well we could win any game or lose any game. Buffalo SHOULD have been a win. It all depends on how Miami plays. As long as they continue to have penalties, they will struggle to beat anyone. If they keep the mistakes and turnovers down, they have chance to win.

My point is you cant look at the schedule and think this could be a win more than another game.

While the schedule may be somewhat in our favor, there is no one to tell who would be easy wins. We just aren't good enough to assume that. As long as our QB can't hit recievers and the D fades when we get behind and the line can't consistently open some holes and we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot, we won't be in the p/o race. When we see the team stop shooting itself and we see Gus hit a reciever once in a while and etc...then we can start to look at the schedule to see where we have opportunities.

BTW, any advantage we might have had with the Chiefs has been erased because of the weather issues...it's now a level playing field and perhaps even more of an advantage to the Chiefs since it will probably mean JT can't go...

I dont see the Phins going 3-1 over the next 4 games. We are more likely to go 1-3 as we are underdogs to the Chiefs, Falcons, and Pat. If we went 3-1, thus beating 3 very good teams, I'd be hopeful for a wildcard as the schedule gets a bit lighter with the Bills and Jets at home plus some other teams you mentioned. But I just dont see this team winning three of the next four games. And this is where dropping games to the Jets and Buffalo earlier hurt the most. We should be 4-1, but were not.

no doubt the defenses we face the next few weeks wont nearly compare to the 1st 5... and atleast we have ATL and NE at home.

I disagree. They have been equal to, or better than all of their opponents in the talent department. Where they have failed is in execution (their own :D ). The penalties have directly resulted in 2 of the losses (Jets, Bills) and played a role in the 3rd (Bucs).
You would think that once the team establishes better chemistry they will excel. Quite frankly, other than the Colts, no other team looks that great. They all have a few warts on their noses.

one game at a time! Lets get the best of KC tommorow!

No, no, your pessimism (I know, I know, its really more realism, I'm just kidding) makes you kind of like the guy everybody loves to lock horns with. Balances things out, makes things interesting. I know I've yelled at you once during gametime, but to tell you the truth its always good to see another perspective.
