We started round 4 today and I'm hoping our next pick is none other than Scooby Wright III MLB from Arizona. Great player, student of the game, and playmaker. He would be the closest thing we've ever seen to Zach Thomas. Cross your fingers, and if you aren't familiar with him check out his highlights!

I posted this in another thread, but since you bring up Zach, this is a guy that really reminds me of him;

Imo, the guy who has most reminded me of Zach is William Ratelle from UND, at his pro day ran a 4.54, 36" vert, 36 reps on the bench, 5'10", 251lbs.

I thought that was Mike Hull? Or insert _____________ player name here. So tired of hearing all the Zach Thomas comparisons over all these years. That is like comparing a player to Dan Marino. Just don't do it. Ok? lol

And whilst we're waiting..

Hell no. Stuffed.

I have a Zach Thomas "Fathead" on my computer room wall. Good luck getting me to buy one to replace him.

Ricky Williams, with a head of steam would blow through ZT like he was water. RW was too powerful to be stopped by a very undersized LB. Ricky scores.

When did you ever see Zach ran through like water??? No sir, didn't and wouldn't happen.

If Zach can bust up Jerome Bettis head on, he can take Ricky head on too. No way Ricky gets 3 yards on Zach.

STRENGTHS

Possesses elite instincts. Appears to head in direction of the play like he knows the play call. Extremely active and always on the balls of his feet and ready to hunt. Plays with an insane amount of competitive fire. Flows quickly to point with downhill action and looking to disrupt. Is often able to force cutbacks or alter the running back’s track. Can time snaps and shoot gaps making him a dangerous blitzer. His 2014 season, which included 163 tackles, 29 tackles for losses, 14 sacks and six forced fumbles, is widely considered the most productive for a linebacker in college football history. Explodes with hips into tackles and finishes with his feet. Play speed is faster than timed speed thanks to combination of instincts and burst to the ball. Shows plus lateral agility with ability to engage in, shed, or beat the block.

DRAFT PROJECTION Rounds 5 or 6

SOURCES TELL US "I hope he falls to us because I will do everything in my power to get him drafted. Make Zach Thomas your comp for him. They are the exact same guy." -- AFC East area scout

NFL COMPARISON Zach Thomas

BOTTOM LINE Scooby Wright probably won’t tear up the combine with eye-popping athletic numbers and his injury-plagued 2015 season put his name on the backburner as far as draft discussions, but his instincts, production and overall competitive fire make him one of the safer second day bets in this draft. He could make a late move up the draft board for teams who value elite production.

I was hoping for Scooby too, but I think we can kiss him goodbye after the trade down.

Im guessing this player is white?

I thought Vigil was the next thomas?
