The act that Mike Tomlin pulled on Thanksgiving Night was reprehensible. The idea that the guy did not know where he was on the field is a complete joke. Saying he was watching the Jumbotron is laughable for a play happening right in front of him. The "cat with the canary" look on his face after the fact was disgusting. Even if Tomlin did make a mistake, he should have been embarrassed and apologetic to the ref and Ravens player immediately after the play. Walking around with a smile, is bogus.
This link shows it is not a "simple mistake". I am waiting to see the coach's film and other raw feeds to show he went out of his way to mess with the returner.

Tomlin has gone out of his way the last few days saying it was mistake.

Tomlin is a liar and his punishment should be more than a major fine for him. The team should get nailed as well. However, instead of a draft pick which has been tossed around, Tomlin should be suspended for a game either this week or next. The act of a coach to alter a game by walking off of the sideline is terrible. Some will say that the returner was not going to score anyways. That does not matter. He attempted to alter the play.
The fact that Tomlin is a new member of the competition committee makes his act even worse. The league should jettison him from that role as well.
Finally, the way that Tomlin is getting a pass on the network shows is galling. The Tom Jackson's of the world that simply take Tomlin's word for it is sickening. If a Sean Payton, Nick Saban, Jim Harbaugh or a player such as....Richie Incognito did this, they would outraged and call for a suspension. To say they would have the same opinion is absurd.
The league should hammer Mike Tomlin and the Steelers, but it should not end in a hefty fine. Tomlin should not be allowed to coach for a week during the remaining part of the Steelers' schedule.
