The Offence

HOW MUCH R U WILLING 2 BET AND IM DEAD SERIOUS NOWAY HE DOSE MAYBE 65 TO 75 YARDS BUT THAT IS IT IM A BETTING MAN SO WHAT IS YOUR WAGER:evil:

Can I get in on that? I'm neither a Dolphins fan or Bills fan (a friend of mine posts on here), but I'd like to take you up on that. There has to be something I have that's worth losing, or some action I can take that brings a you a measure of satisfaction (posters-don't get perverted with that please).

... it was because of poor coaching, and I'm not talking about just the x's and o's, I'm referring to motivation and control of this team.

Why not?? Indeed, I read the rest of the thread, but it sounded more appologetic than substantial (my appologies if that offended you).

Mike Shannahan could write a book on formation strength vs. imbalance, but Wanny and Co. couldn't even spell imbalance. He played Chambers at split-end while being on the same team as McMichael. There's no reason for that. Especially with all the formation balance they used last year. There was a thread were somebody put together a depth chart and the guy was chastized for putting Boston ahead of Booker. Perhaps, if Boston were ahead of Booker it would allow Chambers to move to flanker and take advantage of being on the same side as McMichael. Any bracket on Chambers would remove any Yale safety, unless the the split-end had a true Michael call. If Boston got singled up (no involvement by the will, or drift, or robber call-only a Yale safety), who wouldn't like that matchup????? Dilema-Booker's not a split-end. He's even more of a flanker than Chambers.

that only applies to some ignorant fans. i actually think we will only make it to 7-9 this season, but our future is very bright. my concern is with the bills fans presence in general- gets on your nerves after a while you know.

Although I can't understand spending time on another teams' fan site, I actually think the original analysis was pretty fair and accurate. Let's face it, there's a lot of ifs for us this year.

Wish I had the time these Bills fans seem to have to dedicate to another teams' site(although I'd probably just go outside), but as long as they're making valid, reasonable arguments, I can deal with them.

I must say, SOME quality posts by the bills fans... I didn't read em' all tho.

Anyways whatever Willis McGahee did against us last year you can just forget about that. He's a stud no doubt, but don't expect the same Defense out there. We should have Atleast 1 capable DT this year, maybe even 2 if we're lucky. We gave up 100 yard games to everyone.

The homerism on this board simply defies logic. Yes - we should be improved. No - we are not anywhere near what that Ravens team was. Are you seriously thinking we have a solid D right now when everyone is scratching their heads over who is going to be playing in our secondary? We are also anorexically thin at DT and (aside from Seau and ZT) have a young inexperienced LB corps that may be good, but will make youngster mistakes.

The offense - enough said. The only real addition, other than coaching, is Brown. Detroit's castoff is starting on our line for Pete-sake. Get a grip people. Coaching is not what sent Seth flying 3 yards backwards everytime he faced a bullrush; and coaching is not what had McMike and Booker dropping balls like they were playing hot potato.

Need to face facts - this team absolutely sucked last season and we have the toughest schedule in the NFL this season.

If the offense improves to 13-17 and our defense improves to 10-15 then that is a tremendous result in one season and we would regain respectability. One more solid off-season and we can start talking about potential dominance.

Good honest post. But "anorexically"? Is that really a word?

What are you referring to? I'm not offended.

Anything can happen. My question is, who's gonna stop him in your D. Our OL this year is bulit to run,run and run. Our pass protection was nothing to brag about but from being dead last to middle of the pact in McNally's first year ,we should be better this year and a qb that can scramble.

IF Jp pans out, teams are gonna have to choose their poison.

What do I think? I think you shouldn't spell offence and defence the way they do in Britain and Canada,,,,,,eh!!!

Not sure. I have seen it used in professional publications with great regularity when used as a descriptor. That's how I used it.

A better Willis McGahee vs. a better Dolphins front line. We will have to wait and see the outcome. ;)

The highest probability is that the game(s) will be determined by both our weaknesses - your air game v. our secondary.

Our air game is a question mark. Whether it's our weakness, that remains to be seen.

How about our running game vs. your run D?

Justa, Justa, Justa, you talk about rose colored glasses, but the tweak on your sentence, "if JP pans out", is the same homerist expression used here when people talk about AJ..you can't have it both ways, JP has to be the complete unknown right now, thus, not even in AJ's league right now...You can say AJ has won some games in the NFL..atleast he has that on his resume. You can't even say that about JP, not even PS wins. I think it's more fair to say if AJ continues to improve or pan out, that teams will have to pick their posion, his throwing or our running. Wouldn't you agree??

Swoosh . Can't you see how I capitalized the "IF"? I never made that statement w/ an exclamation point did I? My statement w/ an IF would be completely different if I used WHEN. :shakeno:
