It's the off-season,so let's talk Baseball.Post anything about your favorite AL team and discuss the upcoming year.Talk about this seasons trades/signings or steroid use/non-use or anything else???.

My AL team is the Los Angeles Angels.I'll admit I was pretty up-set "we" couldn't re-sign Mark Teixeria(sp)this off-season(he signed w/the Yanks).Although I'm not really sure my Halos were even an option for Tex,I heard his wife really didn't care much for the Westcoast.I am thrilled we were able to pick up Bobby Abreu (FA/Yankees),he'll add some pop from the leftside of the plate(a need for LAA).The Angels were also able to sign FA Brian Feuntes(Closer)since we lost Frankie Rodriguez to the Mets.

Btw...someone start a National League Thread of the same..:hi5:

I hope the Tigers can make a comeback this year after a disappointing season last year. We'll see if Cabrera can start lighting it up again and if their pitching can hold up. I am looking forward to seeing Zumaya throw again, hes a beast in that set-up role. Detroit needs a successful year badly...

I think Oakland's got a good chance of winning the AL West this year too.

Tampa could win the East again.

What a story that'd be.

..the Tigers, with their offense, should have a much better season this year. After their terrible start last season I kept waiting for them to get hot, they never did.Too much talent on Detroit for them not to compete in the central. And you're right,it's going to come down to getting some good starting pitching(it always does).GL

...will see...:D...Oakland has pretty much reinvented itself(roster) over the last couple years.Billy Beane has been a busy GM over the last couple of years, they should be fun to watch.

They'll have a great offense, the only question they really have is on their pitching staff. If that staff can be halfway competent...watch out.
