I was just messing with you  ...we have the Colorado Crush in Denver...I think they won it last year....they had a team here in C Springs about five years ago as well.

here's my two cents.

I went to a game last year and had a decent time.

This year, I had a great time watching the Dolphins and didn't want to be without football from February through September, so my friend, who had season tickets, asked if I wanted to join him and his crew, so I did.

and it's freaking FUN! It is a completely different game, so despite the fact that the talent couldn't even remotely compare to the NFL, it's a completely different game. Defense is tougher due to being more "man to man" on the shorter field, and due to the linebacker rules. No punting makes decision making tougher. The net takes a lot of skill to play on kick returns....

I had a blast this year and the local team just happened to make the Arena Bowl in a year they were predicted to struggle due to "rebuilding".

I give it two thumbs up. It ain't the NFL, but it's a viable reimagination of the game, unlike the XFL, which was abominable.

they dont want to be like the nfl, they except that, they do what they do. i mean no punting, and the linebackers, its mayhem. i watch this when, the nfl season is over, and well im starting to enjoy it more, no people like t.o whinning about money, they play to play the game.

i seriously think your ther smartest guy on the fourm robfin

I'm a former Dallas Desperados season ticket holder and love the game. Unfortunately I moved to San Antonio, so I had to give up my tickets. I thought about getting season tickets to the Austin Wranglers (for the non-TX people, Austin is about 1 hour from SA), but I just couldn't support another team after being with the Desperados from the beginning of the franchise. Although, my favorite ex-Desperado does play for the Wranglers, Tom Briggs. The dude's motor never stops and he truly seems to enjoy playing.

Anyway, I leave for Vegas in about 4 hours and I got my tickets to the Arena Bowl on Sunday, will be fun! Too bad Dallas blew up and didn't make it :(

Your lucky crisko. Have a safe trip. And have fun!

fake football

Was an edict written eons ago that stated all of death7star's posts had to be 3 words or less and bring nothing to the thread?

Don't know what you mean by "fake football" anyway, not sure if you're aware, but North American football existed eons before the NFL ever did.

You guys remember the Anaheim Piranhas? they folded after one season, so now I go see the L.A. Avengers, they suck lately. But, it's still fun to watch!!!

I am an Austin Wranglers fan, yes I hate Texas but there roster has like 13 Sooners on it....soo...yea :D
