YUP. THE SAME SILENT BATS WE'VE COME TO EXPECT

Only in the post season does our entire lineup chase pitches out of the zone and get ourselves out.

I still have hope, but this is disturbing.

I know some said we have a All-Star lineup 1-9 but its sickening to see them change their approach when the post season comes along.

The Tigers look like 5 times the team the Yankees are right now. Sad with this payroll. If the bats don't wake up tonight it's going to be brutal!

hahahahahahahahahahahahha. i guess you can't talk trash when your team is down 2-1....HAHAHAHAHAHHAA.

2007 yankees will have Joe G as manager, and A-Rod and Johnson will be gone!

You heard it from a Met fan first!

Well, dissapointing loss to say the least.

Not a good match-up going into tomorrow. Could be another early exit from the playoffs.

The Yankees have no interest in Giardi. IF (big if) Joe T. goes (which I don't think he will, cause he ain't quiting and he isn't getting fired). Mattingly is #1 on the list. Pinella is 2nd.

Girardi was only a yankee for a few years as a player and one year as a coach. And going from a team of young kids who will listen to every word he says to a team of millionares is a huge jump! I don't see NY making that move if Torre is let go (which he won't be)
