The Official 2006 New York Yankees Thread!

Johnny Damon is down now for a few games. Another day another injury but no excuses, someone has to step up these last 4 games. If we can head into the All Star Break 2 games back, that's a good place to be all things considered!
 
So who starts in CF tonight? Crosby or do we have a flashback and let Williams play CF and move Crosby to RF?

It's amazing we could score 10 runs w/ that lineup. Randy came through and pitched well until the 8th and we got the split after the first 2 awful games.

rays look absolutely horrible at the plate....we are good offensively, but we have our days that make you say...wtf?

Outside of the Met game he has pitched pretty well for us. The major problem has been he only goes 6 innings which kills our pen but he's usually given us 6 decent innings.

That shouldn't really kill your pen though... 6 innings/start isn't bad

He's only pitched 6 innings 4 tims, most of the time it's 5 or a ltitle more than 5. The only innings eater we have in the rotation is Wang so it all contributes to the overuse of the pen. Hopefully Dotel can help lighten the load on others when he coms up.
