Jon Lester is getting called up and will start tomorrow vs. Cleveland. Julian is back in the pen.

Thats not very shocking. Can't wait to see Lester pitch!! Gabbard looks like he might be in the rotation for awhile

Agreed. Lester's spot might be short lived depending on how well Gabbard does and how long it takes Schilling to come back.

I don't think Lester or Gabbard will get sent down, just sent to the pen to help out. Which means Lopez and/or Piniero will probably be given the boot soon.
 
Good weekend for the Sox. Papelbon made it a little tense in the 9th but he showed why he's one of the best in the game by shutting the door.

Sox head to Cleveland in what should be a very good 3 game series vs. the Indians with Lester, Matsuzaka and Beckett going.

Ortiz might be back at Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yeah yesterday but I see no reason for the Sox to try and rush him back to the rotation and besides the more rest the better he will be in the playoffs which is when he is at his best.
