***The Official Dolphins/Bills Game Thread***

I think the O lone looks good. Henne needs to throw the ball sooner on that sack or throw it away. D looks good. Special teams needs work, no blocking on returns.
 
Remember that Buffalo doesn't have slouches in the secondary. Sure the front 7 are bad but then again our interior lineman are not perennial pro-bowlers either. The guys still need to execute. This isn't college football. Some of you guys would not be happy if you won the 300 million lottery because they took out 100 million in taxes...
 
First half of the first game and the complaining has already started. If we aren't winning every game 40-0 all season, some will NEVER be happy.
 
Defense is MUCH better than I thought it would be but this is the type of games that terrifies me. One turnover and we can be in a dogfight. We are up 13-4 in 1st downs and have outgained them by over a hundred yards and still only have a one score lead. That first drive on the 2nd half will be VERY important.
 
I'm not worried, the Dolphins look much better than the Bills so far in this game. It's pure luck that this game hasn't been broken wide open. The Marshall drop/underthrow, the missed FG. Bills are on life support already.

Henning is running the playbook as if Pennington was our QB. Ouch.
 
They are throwing deep more often that I saw all pre season. This will eventually become a strength if we keep it up.

Yes the offense has stumbled and missed on some opportunities in the first half, but they are definitely driving better than ALL pre-season. We are passing all over last years top ranked passing D and running well.

I don't care if Buffalo is a bottom tier team, they are a division rival and they ALWAYS play us hard especially at home. This is a good game so far for the phins.

I see what you are saying but it happened so fast. I have never seen a qb throw to the runningback that missed a block before especially at the speed i happened. 9 out 10 qb's in the nfl probably would have been sacked on that play and the others would have thrown a pass that going down that probably would have been picked.
 
Defense... don't question it. Don't let up. Play fast. Offense... mix it up and stay balanced between run and pass. Let's go!
 
It's all good, but they need to be even better next week if they want to win. Less dink and dunk in the second half.

Your calling people homers but yet your a debbie downer just becasue marshall doesnt have 10 for 150 yards and 3 td's like you want it doesnt mean the team as a whole are playing bad stop living in the madden world dude.

It is a trend that must be the consensus of the majority of dolphins fans. I don't get it. Henne has looked VERY good today. He is not locking onto anyone and even scrambled for a first down that he may have forced a ball in the past. Miami "fans" slob Henne's knob when he does good and then calls for his head the next. I have never seen such a fickle fanbase in my entire life. It pretty much is annoying too...
