I had to start it. I've said this multiple times. If your coach doesn't even know how or when to use a timeout..... He shouldn't be an NFL HC.

Who's with me on this?

I love how when the opponent enters the red-zone at any point in the game, it's now a mandatory timeout call.
Is this Coyle just never knowing what package he wants to employ? Or is Philbin that queasy every time he's defending the red zone now?

I get that you want to give your D a rest, but it uses up TO's that we could use in the end of half's or end of games. Some of these calls just seem a little too habitual and not really well thought-out.

When we get hammered in Foxboro next Sunday then that needs to be the final nail in Philbin's coffin. He needs to be canned. End of story.

I ask this question of all of you without a shred of sarcasm:

Do you guys think Ross even knows what is going on with this team right now? I honestly question if he has even checked in.

Jesus, I hope so. It is after all, a billion dollar investment..... So I assume he has some idea. At this point I honestly cannot make a case for keeping Philbin..... Hopefully, someone on Ross' advisory committee feels the same way and is in his ear.

I think if he had his pulse on this team or was a true dolphin fan he would have done something by now. This is just another one of his toys.

What is he 23-22? This is a results business and he is going to deliver another non-playoff 8-8, 9-7 season with the most talented team we've had in years. If we don't make the playoffs he has to go.

My guess is that he's been having a lot of conversations with Marino...maybe even Jason Taylor as well as Hickey on a week-to-week basis on the status of the team, locker room, etc. Marino won't beat around the bush for sure. If Marino says get rid of the coach I'm pretty sure Ross will get rid of the coach.

That's more of an incriminating statement than it is positive. This may be the most talented team we've had in years but it's till woefully lacking in playmakers and elite players. The object should be to get to the super bowl, not just the playoffs. We had plenty of teams in Marino's years that got to the playoffs that didn't really have much talent...and it showed when we got to the playoffs because we made a quick exit. Much like 2008 when we got to the playoffs with smoke and mirrors and then got smacked right out quickly. This team still lacks talent and depth to play with the big boys. That much is evident.

I think hes much more interested in finding a good coach for his favorite team. Michigan
