The Official Golden State Warriors 2008 run to the 6 seed or bust thread

Chris Webber probably could play for the next 40 years if he missed the first half of the season every year. I remember watching him for the Sixers and he would have one good game, followed by one bad game in that very pattern for much of the season. So that would average out to 41 good games! Which is half a season :)

The 30-20 Warriors face up against the Gilbertless Wizards at home. Even if the Kings game was close at the end it was a W and in the West every game means so much even in an 82 game season. I see the Warriors taking this game by about 8. The next game against the Suns is could be brutal. Might be the debut of Shaq as well.

2 point win after being down 23 points. Stephen Jackson puts up 41 points, 16 in the 4th.

Sucks to be a Wizards fan right now. :p

Baron Davis seems to be running on fumes right now. I think the break will do him good and im glad he's not playing in the Allstar Game. We're gonna need him rested for the second half. Monta is starting to go off, though

Davis is running low on steam. He looks like he's going through the motions until either we get down by a lot or it's the 4th quarter. Sometimes that's not enough like that Bulls game. =/

Saw in the paper today that Pietrus is demanding a trade. Says he is sick of playing PF/C when he is 6'6" and should be playing the SG/SF swingman. He is a talented expiring contract. I would imagine a team somewhere would be willing to give him a look see. He played well before Stephen Jackson took his spot (via trade). Perhaps somewhere out East?

I wouldn't be too heart broken to see him gone.

All us Laker fans are rootin' for the Warriors tonight. It would put us within a game of Phoenix with a head to head matchup coming up after the break.

So if we lose the news won't be all bad then. ;)
