Because we need this thread. He was the best player on the field tonight and the reason we won the game.

I salute you, #53, because on a night that was lacking in good football from our Dolphins, you were a beast.

12 first half tackles. Twelve. Broke up the key play at the end of the game to seal it for us.

Love the kid, I'm hoping for big things from McCain and Tripp as well. So they can get rid of Wheeler and Ellerbe.

It's about time he gets some serious appreciation. He has become a tackling machine.
 
Played lights out again. A solid lb. Can blitz, stop the run and defend. Glad we got him. Congrats
 
Good game?!?! really he had 16 tackles, 2 TFL because they abandoned the pass and they averaged 5.7 per carry for 277 yards. they ran the ball 49 times. Ill give him the luck play at the end, he had no clue that ball was going to hit him in the shoulder pad.

Jones had a game. He had 11 Tackles, 2 TFL and 9 were solo, he also had one Pass Defended and the INT that ended the game.

Really the game ball goes to the Jets as a team for gift wrapping the game and giving it to us in the end.
 
Jenkins, Misi, and Jones were all beasts tonight. Jones has been our MVP but Jenkins will be playing his way into pro bowls in a couple of seasons.

We just need to use the money from cutting Wheeler and Ellerbe on a solid OLBer, or move Misi back to SAM and find a long term MLB.

How are you even going to blame the LBers for that? How is it their fault that the Dline was so bad that they allowed a pulling Guard and a FB to block into open space every single play? Dion Jordan and Cameron Wake were so bad in the run game, they were out of position so many times and were the reason we got whipped in the run game.
 
The DL was getting absolutely destroyed at the line of attack and Wake/Vernon both played poorly in the first half. Jenkins is the reason it wasn't worse.

Just my two cents, anyway.

Don't leave Wheeler out of the blame game as he was pretty bad as well.

How anyone could possibly say something negative about Jenkins after this game is beyond me. Kid was all over the field tonight. He, Jones, Misi, OV, and Wake (for the big passing down plays) won the game for us on D tonight.
 
Every week Jenkins comes to play. He was all over the field tonight and came up big when we needed it.
