No wonder so many fans from other teams make fun of us!!

How about we actually put in a gameplan before we decide who sucks?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset. Just preseason...and if you ask me we did have a bad game! The only disheartening thing was the fact that the qb's were FORCED to throw to donald lee! Hopefully the O line can watch the tape and fix the problems.

If lee had actually caught more than 2 of them, we would have won.
 
gloomy guses?? you saying frerotte sucked, did you see that pass to gilmore, RIGHT where he wanted it, defender couldn't get it... and when he totally made that safety miss him in the endzone, so stop your feeley hugging cause he sucks, see when he got sacked? he should have body slammed urlacher out of the way, frerotte would have done a sumersault in mid air to avoid that sack

haha ok im done with the sarcastic posts... but i agree with taking it easy on all fronts about this game...
 
The reason people get like this is because they set the bar through the roof saying this team is gonna win 10, 11 games, and then when they don't see perfection in the first freakin' pre-season game, those same people who say the team will go 11-5 and go to the SB are the same ones wanting to fire and cut everyone. It's a joke. If people were realisitc to begin with and would realize that while being vastly improved from last year, we're still not going to be that good (maybe 8 wins), they wouldn't sound like such morons when ripping the team afer a game where the scheme is as vanilla as a Jimmy Cefalo radio call and there's no game-planning whatsoever.

You think my(and others) opinon of AJ Feeleys sucktitude is generated from last nights pre-season game alone? Are you feeling alright?

Please, 1 Pre-season game. Just 1, and you could hear the idiotic mentality some fans have. Did they struggle? Yeah. But thats what preseason is for...to get better.

The fins are kinda rebuilding, it will take time to get better. Only those fans who predicted the phins to go 11-5 or better are the ones crying b/c they didn't come in and dominate every snap. It takes time people to improve from 4-12!
 
I'm on finheaven reading the messages about 4 times/day... I almost never write...for lack of time, and lack of not wanting to repeat what others are saying... but I have to say this that was repeated over and over:

Didn't the Colts also loose their first game on saturday? Do you think we will be battling out who looses more with the Colts at the end of the season to go pick up Leinart... 'cause you know Manning is done, they lost their first preseason game!.. Could you imagine, the Colts offense scored LESS than the Dolphins offense, that'll surely translate into the season, right!? :shakeno:

A relax thread is just what we needed! :cool:

Have a beer...enjoy the summer...the season will be different. And stop expecting Nick Saban will turn this into a superbowl team in 1 season. It MAY happen, but the chances are slim...
 
Okay, yes I did get a little upset last night. Who wouldn't?? If your team doesn't win preseason or not you'll still get a little angry. You think Saban wasn't angry with the outcome of the game? Sure he was but he isn't throwing the season away and either am I. Like Madden said last night...2 to 3 years and the Dolphins will be at the top of the NFL again!!! It could happen this year. If it doesn't so be it. I'll still spend my yearly $500 to watch every single snap the dolphins take!!!!!!
 
Its preseason.... we play games, watch the film, make corrections.... we all know who can play and who can't. We got some studs i.e. Boston, Seau, Taylor, Thomas, Rick, McMike, Chambers.... I'm not worried.... hey other teams have problems too....not even close to opening day. Lets compare #34 from last night to the 5th game of the regular season.....
Manny is still not in shape that lard ***.... Madden said "this kid doesn't have a motor" "not in shape"

I agree. I think everybody got a little too hyped up during the off season, living in a vacuum. Every teams' fans watch and analyze and hope for and believe the best about their acquisitions. This is a little reality check. Saban is definitely going to improve this team, the coaches he's hired are top notch and he's very deliberate and organized. But he still has the personel problems he inherited from Bozo I and II and it's gonna take awhile to get the horses he needs to really make a run. He patched some holes with older vets for this year, but he's got some drafting to do before he has the team he really wants. Slow steady progress and a .500 record seems like a reasonable set of expectations for this year.
