The "Official" sites Feeley trade news...

I cannot believe we gave up a pick and Feeley for a less experienced 3rd String QB named Lemon... This is the first Saban move I truly question..

Unless Lemon turns out to be an improvement over Feeley, this was a waste of a pick and dumb trade.

we have plenty of 7th rounders to give away.... Id rather have the cap space and a quarterback with more potential.

I am underwhelmed. We had to get rid of AJ and we had to pay to do it.

That's exactly what they are hoping he turns out to be.

You have to roll the dice if you want to win at craps.

how could you pass judgment on a trade that freed up cap room and anyway.. we havent even seen cleo yet..

It seems to me that we wanted Lemon. AJ was just a throw in we were planning to cut anyways.

Good god when will everyone stop thinking that the coaches looked at this as an opportunity to dump Feeley rather than an opportunity to get Lemon.

If they just wanted to carry the cap space into 2006 they would have negotiated some phony incentives into someone's contract and then just cut Feeley next offseason AFTER he served as our 3rd QB this year. Jeez.

He was a third string QB....behind Brees and Rivers....how much potential could he have? This was just another example of ego at work.

oooo...holy ****.. brilliant line.. brilliant

heres some advil, ck, take it for your head. It's an anti-inflammatory ;)

Who cares?

Both teams ended up exhanching scrubs...

Saban probably sees more in Lemon than Feeley.
