We got some interesting matches coming up this month of June

Perú vs. Colombia
Paraguay vs. Brasil
Bolivia vs. Chile
Argentina vs. Ecuador

Uruguay vs. Perú
Ecuador vs. Colombia
Brasil vs. Argentina
Bolivia vs. Paraguay
Venezuela vs. Chile

I have the June 18th date marked on my calendar for the classic Argentina vs. Brasil. Vamos Argentina!

Argentina blasted Mexico in last night's friendly, let's see if they can carry that kind of futbol into the qualifiers this month.

I like Brazil over Argentina. Brazil was the better team in the Copa America final and that was a Brazil team missing the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinho against a fully manned Argentina squad.

Argentina and Brazil are amongst the best in the world. Their match history has been fairly even, sometimes Brazil gets the upper hand (Copa America) and sometimes Argentina gets the nod. We'll see how it goes this month when they meet again.

Very dissapointing to see Argentina tie Ecuador. That was a game that the albiceleste should have won easily, and they almost lost. On the positive side, Brazil stumbled as well. I am surprised that the S. American powerhouses are not showing very good futbol.

Vamos Argentina!:woot:

The rankings so far are as follows:

1)Paraguay
2)Brasil
3)Argentina
4)Chile
5)Uruguay
6)Colombia
7)Ecuador
8)Venezuela
9)Perú
10)Bolivia

Paraguay remains on top and is playing great fooball. Argentina and Brazil keep drawing games they are supposed to win and Chile has awakened.

More matches to come in October!.

Argentina shouldn't have won that game. Like always the ref gave ample time for Argentina to catch up and called the game right after they scored.

You should be scared, like last time Argentina will fall in Quito this time around in the 14th round.

You say they should have "won easily" but they've had a tough time against Ecuador the last half a decade!! Not to mention in team play the raod for the Copa Libertadores for Liga de Quito went through San Lorenzo AND Estudiantes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be scared! Be very scared, El Tri-Color is starting to surge--yet again.

Granted, Argentina has to find its groove again, but Ecuador has to play much better football have a shot at qualifying.

Go Argentina...way to beat Uruguay!
Im Uruguayan. Way to go referee. First goal, hit the ref, and then was offsides(the limeman even had the flag up). 2nd goal was offsides too.

Two penalties in favor of Uruguay not called.
And a lot of hitting by Argentina, Riquelme should've been given a red card.

But oh well, you guys are Argentina, and the refs like you

Did you see how we filled one of your entire populares? And how all of our chants were heard clearly?

OMG, what a bunch of excuses, just admit we were the better team that day. The problem is that when the Uruguayans realized they were gonna lose they started playing dirty football and therefore the game became a slug fest and the referee lost control of the game. The referee applied yellow cards that were silly and looked the other way for really hard fouls by the Uruguayans. It was a joke!.

I didnt get to watch the seconds half, but whatever. The referee lost control of the game after the first goal, which was way before the hitting started. It was the 5th minute. Uruguay played horrible, but didnt deserve to lose.
You guys hit A LOT MORE THAN US, and barely got penalized. We have half our roster, either suspended for yellow cards, or heavily injured

You should have seen the second half then, it looked more like a UFC fight than a football game. The Uruguayans were hitting very hard in the second half. Barely got penalized?.. we lost Riquelme, Tevez, Aguero (got injured), and Mascherano for our upcoming game against Chile. Even Messi got a yellow card. Believe me, we paid dearly for that win.
