Are you serious? You can't possibly be serious. This is either a bad joke or the stupidest post I have ever seen.

that's saying something...especially since this board has been littered with stupid posts all day.

After the way we looked last night might as well start the kid seeing we are going no where!!!!!!!

Wow, I used to log on here mostly to talk football but it's posts like these that keep me coming back to feel that amazement at people's mentalities. It's like not being able to pass an accident without looking.

I would like to start off by saying this is the stupidest post since that Zach to SS one a while back. Second I would like to ask, ARE YOU HIGH??. Brock SUCKED in college.

Hurricane fan here to second that.
Well he didn't suck, he had flashes where he played great HOWEVER, he was highly inconsistent. Consistency in play is what defines a good pro athlete. Anyone can make a few great plays but can you do it more times than you screw up? Brock Berlin dosen't seem to have that ability.
Could we keep him over Sage? Sure, it's possible but he's more likely to end up on the practice squad at best.

Yep Berlin looked really good until that last pass....the game was getting close to 3 1/2 hours in length so I guess in a way it is good we did not try to kick a FG there at the end to send it to OT. :D

I can't believe you are serious w/ this post. :rofl3:Quite frankly, I'd take Feebler over Berlin as a starter.

That said, Berlin looked sharp other than that last pass. But like someone else said, the dude is seriously inconsistent. Plus - as any good Cane fan knows - Berlin can't seem to throw the ball straight if he isn't in the shotgun. Remember that Florida game two years ago when he tore it up from the gun after playing like crap for most of the game under center. Umm .... unless Linehan is getting ready to unviel the ole' run-and-shoot offense, that ain't gonna work.

Berlin is a decent backup at best. Should he beat Sage out? That's for people wiser than me to decide.

The kid's a Bills fan. He's just masquerading as a Dolphins fan right now to talk smack.

Did I miss something, or was that game the FIRST PRESEASON GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

It was our first preseason game, unless one wouldn't consider the American Bowl a preseason game.

Brock Berlin played very well last night. He certainly justified why the Dolphins are giving him a chance. I was impressed in his first preseason action, but that's it for now. If he continues to learn and improve he may be an NFL starter some day, but this is NOT that day yet.

Brock did look sharp. (against the Bears fourth string)right up until that last throw.

Berlin can play magnificent at times, then it's that one or two plays that causes his team to lose. So, no, Miami doesn't need to start Berlin.

I wasn't suprised about Berlin. I watched him in college throughout his senior year. He wasn't as bad as people said. Most people called for his head throughout the offseason without actually seeing him play. All they hear is "Brock Berlin sucks". All I can say is he did allright. Lets hope he keeps improving and learn.
