https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ion-bets-favor-philadelphia-eagles/303909002/ Super Bowl 2018: Fans laying down $1 million bets in favor of Philadelphia Eagles William Hill -- which operates more than 100 sportsbooks in Nevada and hundreds more worldwide -- has taken three bets on the Eagles of $1 million or more since Monday, the latest coming Friday afternoon. That $1 million money-line wager was made by the same bettor who placed a $1 million bet on the Eagles on Monday.
http://www.espn.com/blog/new-englan...njury-report-inactive-players-come-into-focus Charlie, Super Bowl LII will be the first game this season that the Patriots won't have any players inactive because of injury, as everyone was removed from the injury report Friday. That should make the decisions on the 46-man roster fairly clear-cut. This is what I would project: DT Alan Branch: After injuring his knee Dec. 11 against Miami, he has yet to play again, with Ricky Jean Francois getting the nod over him, even as Branch returned to full health. WR Kenny Britt: Signed to a two-year deal through 2018, he'll have a better chance to emerge next season with a full offseason in the system; he has been inactive the past five games. OL Cole Croston: The undrafted free agent from Iowa has been the eighth of eight linemen all season, and the team will have its usual seven linemen active on game day. RB Mike Gillislee: He opened the season No. 1 on the depth chart before Dion Lewis took over Oct. 15 against the Jets and never gave back the job. Gillislee's lack of contributions on top special-teams units have hurt his case for a spot. LB David Harris: Coach Bill Belichick has raved about his professionalism all season, but Harris hasn't played in each of the past four games. TE Jacob Hollister: The undrafted free agent from Wyoming was inactive in the AFC Championship Game, as he was the player affected most by the overall health of the roster improving. PR Bernard Reedy: He was signed to a deal through 2018 when he returned to the club on Jan. 17, so his chance to break through will come next year.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ning-battle-up-front-huge-for-eagles-defense/ Super Bowl 2018 key matchups: Winning battle up front huge for Eagles defense The numbers in 2017 were mostly in line with those from previous seasons -- only he was even better with rushers in his face than in previous seasons. Brady was sacked, hit, or hurried on only 31.4 percent of his drop backs during the regular season, per Pro Football Focus, the eighth-lowest rate in the NFL. Including the Patriots' two playoff games, he completed 70.2 percent of his passes when throwing from a clean pocket and only 55.4 percent under pressure. He had a 105.7 passer rating from a clean pocket and a 95.5 rating when pressured. He was not quite as strong against blitzes as in years past, mostly because he didn't have his best blitz-beater (Julian Edelman) on the field.
I'd rather see a ****ing sinkhole open up and swallow the stadium than see either of these miserable ****bag franchises win. Obviously my Pats hate doesn't need to be explained, but I can't stand the Eagles either, because Philly. I detest all teams from Philly (ESPECIALLY the Flyers, being a die-hard Devils fan). I guess I'm just going to root for the Pats to lose, and try my best to ignore the fact that it was a Philly team that beat them, should it happen... If the Pats win AGAIN, it will, of course, be vomit inducing. There truly are no winners. This game blows.
Spent a huge chunk of my life in Southern NJ, and have allegiance to all Philly teams aside from football. (I left Miami as a kid before the Heat, Marlins and Panthers were around.) It's crazy how hungry that fanbase is for a championship. Oh. Also, the Devils, and almost every single New York/Northern NJ team can kiss my ***.
1975. The sad thing for you is you lived in NJ and instead of choosing to support the team that represents the entire state, you chose to support losers from a loser city.

January 20, 1985 --The last time the Miami Dolphins played in the Superbowl. Fellow members of the board: Please remember that date the next time you are tempted to advise we show "patience" with the current front office and plan. We have been waiting for 33 years.
The collective joygasm levels will be in the uncharted territory if Eagles win. Belichek and Kraft are at their peak rock star primadonna-ness. Even little lord Fauntleroy would be envious of Kraft's wispy locks...I even saw Belichek smile in interviews. He was bussed in with what looked like blonde Kardashian's. My God, it would be totally worth every loss if Bill changes genders in five years.
Hard to believe another Super Bowl rolls around and we're not in it once again. All we have is to root against the pats at this point and to think that we'll get the right free agents and draft the right guys too and if all that happens we're probably not be in the big game next year anyway.....lol But honestly, I have way more important things to worry about at the moment. I will watch and hope for the best Ozzy rules!!
It's the Patriots. Look for a 100 yard disparity in penalties and at least one critical close call going to the Patriots in the fourth quarter.
a) that does not matter to those Dolphins fans young enough to either not remember 1985 or weren't born then. For them we have never been to a Superbowl. Kinda like my son. Born in 1988. Kindergarden, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, job, own house, engagement. An entire life. b) measuring yourself down against the worse is an attitude for losers. Your attitude should not be "it can be worse" but "let's make it better and get where others are"
Id actually prefer the refs expose their shady selves in the SB, at least then we might get some ****ing changes.
Yea, they got a little too close to the endzone for Sterratore's liking. Good job by his crew to force the FG.
