Today i feel the same sadness (sports man pain) that i first felt 10 years ago when Dan retired. The game of hockey is losing a great one. 20 years with the same organization, one of the best leaders and clutch players to ever play the game. You know your a special human being when you play for the Avalanche and even red wings fans don't have anything bad to say about you. the best wrist shot i have ever see, i'm going to miss watching him play. i will always remember joe passing the cup to ray bourque like a hot potato, the most unselfish act i have seen in professional sports...i leave you with some of notable career statistics.
