The official "Trade rumors, FA ,and draft speculation are killing me" bandwagon.

All of these trade scenarios that may or may not come to fruition, an 8x thread merge on Chad Johnson, Shawn Rogers is coming here, Roy Williams is coming here...it's killing me!

By my count, here is what our offseason looks like according to Finheaven's count:
-We will find a way to draft Chris Long, Glenn Dorsey, Jennings, and Ryan. Then, in the second round grab Joe Flacco.
-We are going to sign Ken Hamlin, Karlos Dansby, Asante Samuel, Corey Williams, Domonique Foxworth, and Lance Briggs.
-We will trade for Chad Johnson, Marion Barber, Roy Williams, Shaun Rodgers, Bobby Carpenter, and Marcus Spears.
-We are also going to get additional draft picks in rounds 2 and 3 from these trades somehow.

Every day I come on here hoping for some actual news, even though I know that there really can't be any yet. I just can't stand this heartache anymore! We can't keep losing! I want our FO to make the right moves for once, and I want to see results. I would love to see some big FAs brought in to make a splash in the media and get us some attention and respect, but right now it's all speculation and it's driving me nuts!!

Finheaven is ruining me! I spend my days looking for new clips on Youtube of Dolphins players removing parking signs or saying that they want Parcells to sign them. I scour youtube for prospect videos! Jump aboard the bandwagon if this is driving you bananas too!

**PS: This is kind of tongue-in-cheek, so don't get offended or take me too seriously :lol: :woot:

The crazy draft scenarios are killing you but you come up this this? Oh wait, forget it, sarcasm at its best..

Actually, you forgot to add trufant into the FA singing equation :sidelol:
 
I get annoyed as well but I like how optimistic everyone is around here. The past few years we've stunk but every offseason things are upbeat around Finheaven. Sure a lot of those things won't happen but some of them are possibilities It's not like theres anything to discuss anyway.
 
Hopefully bill changes all this and makes a big splash this year.
 
The great thing about this year, at this point we are either mistake free or our mistakes dont come to light at that time.


You could never guarantee last year that
John Beck would look like any other rookie (not bad but no better)
trent Green was washed up, you could guess but anything is possible
David Martin is not a starting TE, well maybe this one
Joey Porter was overpaid, obvious but you never know
Wes Welker was an all pro
Randy Moss was a stud again
Pail Solai was lazy and ill prepared
Lorenzo Booker would be inactive half the year
Tedd Ginn would get outplayed by Dwayne Bowe a holdout
Matt Roth would not improve

The only thing you could guarantee is that Joe Toledo would get injured and that about the only guarantee that dolphin fans have had as of late.
 
Don't forget we're also going to get DeAngelo Hall for letting the Falcons move up two spots.....LOL

Some of you people crack me up with your scenarios where we fleece another team worse than JJ did to Minnesota in the Herschel Walker trade.

I would love to see it happen, but it's not gonna happen.
The talent level of our team will drastically improve from the squad that finished last season for us, between the draft, free agency, key players returning from injury, and possibly some shrewd trades......but teams aren't out there lining up to give us their star players + a bushel of draft picks for the honor of giving McFadden or Ryan $30M+ in guaranteed money.

Let's try to be realistic here.

Nah, you could also guarantee that Manny Wright would cry, Channing Crowder would say something incredibly stupid, Jason Allen would be overwhelmed by the playbook, and Marty Booker would drop alot of passes.

We couldnt garuantee that from out possession receiver (HA). But we could garuantee that Cam would win at least 1 game (by the skin on his teeth) and fail forward fastly

Yeah well nobody realized how bare the depth cupboard was because the chickens from the Wannstedt/Spielman drafts finally came home to roost.

We had as good of a rookie class as anyone last year though. That's at least something to build on.

The sad thing is that Manny wright may get a superbowl ring and was probably better than our 4th round pick last year.

I still remember all the gushing on the board about this pick and the blastin I took for condemning taking a player that was hurt every year in college.
