It doesnt matter, who our HC is... Doesnt matter who our OC, DC is. Doesnt even matter who our QB, or who our MLB, OLD Or CB's are........... If we do not acquire 2 new starting caliber Offensive Guards this offeason are team will stink once again..... plain and simple. Easy right?

Sadly this has been the same issue for the last 4-5 years and nothing has been done...... I dont care about anything else but this. Fix this and then you can start worrying about everything else. I am 100000% confident if we would have had 2 good solid starting OG's this last season we would have made the playoffs even under the watch of the incompetent Philbin.

they need more than 2 because they need depth across the LoS on both sides of the ball. first priority. they then need to get like 3 or 4 linebackers, lol, a corner and true safety.

Agree and have been on this for a few years as well! Fix the line and we will be MUCH improved.

Will that stop the defense from giving up 30 points a game?

It was only 24.3 per game.

Average league scoring was 22.8 per game, The defense only gave up 1.5 more points than the average. Nice exaggeration.

It doesnt matter. fix the Guards then worry about everything else.. its litterally been our downfall. If our team can run and our team can pass then can control the clock and control other teams offenses from being on the field as much... Again nothing else matters till we fix the OG position.

Yep. When you control the ball and limit your three and outs, your defense immediately gets better.

So, Albert being himself for maybe 9 games and Fox starting 11 because of him and James' injury had nothing whatsoever with the OL play? Watch many games?

There is someone with my line of thinking. A better defense comes with an offense that controls the ball and the clock.

I know what our average is so spare me the stats, defense was getting walked over. Oline can be fixed a lot easier than the defense.

Oline maybe be easier to fix but our team has found ways not to do it :)

I'm so glad that datruth brought up that RIDICULOUS analytics crap Mike Tannenbaum had going this off-season when he claimed that Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner were gonna break out and be awesome because they spent X number of days in the off-season training program. ****, if only it was that easy, we could just move Jason Fox into the team facility full-time and never have to worry about tackle depth again.
