I just got done watching the Bills at Dolphins game from 2003 when we had Ricky, Fielder and Wanny and CO. And man, it was amazing to hear the fans going nuts from the 1st quarter to the 4th. And Dolphins Stadium needs that. But it was a Sunday Night game on ESPN so the announcing crew was Paul McGuire, Joe Thiesman, and Mike Patrick and I loved this crew a lot. And Joe was all over Jay Fielder. He thinks that he is the real deal and everything and that even though no Miami fan appreciates him that most QB's would kill for his winning percentage ( at the time .682).

Also I put in the Browns at Dolphins game from 2004 when A.J. Feeley was the QB and Joe made a remark after A.J. threw a nice pass to Derrious Thompson that he was worth the picks we gave up for him.

Also I would like to point out one lats thing from both games. I really missed the days when we could play man-man D with our corners. With Surtain and Madison and then Knight and Marion our secondary was loaded. And with the pressure coming from Taylor and Bowens man, do i miss those days. Or even when we had Darayl Garder up front. I miss those big playmakers.

To think they had all that talent and couldn't make a run for the Super Bowl and didn't even make it to the AFC Championship game. I am just now realizing what a great chance the Fins had back then to get a ring but couldn't pull it off. Damn you Wannstedt!!!:fire:

Sorry little dude, but you make me feel really old.............I checked out this thread thinking, early 70's and boy was I wrong!! I'm glad you have memory's of the good old day's which for you would be 2003, or 2004. However if you want to see the "good old day's", check out 1971,72, and 73! Three straight Super Bowl appearances............that my little friend is "The Good Old Day's"

Those where good times but its hard for me to watch games from around that time because it reminds me of what we could have accomplished and i get the sudden urge to assasinate wanny.

Indeed.

But alas, the "older" those "days" get, the more frequently they seem to require dusting.

As a time honored duster myself, and ever-devoted conservator of this team's many venerable, and enduring achievements, here's hoping the "good ol days", can soon be referred to, with a link to a Youtube clip, that hasn't faded across the millennia of recorded mediums.

LOL the old days is a very relative term, but I think 4 years ago is stretching it by any measure.

I personally instantly was thinking of sitting on the sofa with my old man and watching Marino shred the Bears hopes of a perfect season.

Totally agree, it would be nice to have a "good old day" this year or next!

I remember that throw by Feeley. He threaded a needle with that pass between two defenders and won us the game. It was a beautiful play but a very ugly game.

'The Old Days' for me would be 1988-1994.

1990 and 1992 seasons ...boy the only thing missing was winning it all but those were good times.

1994 was awesome but ...DAMN that Pete Stoyo. (I'm still pissed about the Chargers playoff game)
