i want to go back to the 34 or a hybrid front. whether that means new philosophy or new dc I don't care. our personel fits it way better than the crap we have now. Jordan is a hyprid de/olb, Vernon can be that,as well as wake. dl- paul, odrick, maybe Shelby(I think played well when wake went down) or another big body. misi at ilb with Ellerbe or misi at olb, but I would like him at ilb. I think that is a damn good front 7 not to mention Jordan can cover tight ends. what are your thoughts? I think this would make the D leaps and bounds better than the 43 bs on the field now

I keep reading that most of our D is from a 3-4 system. Hopefully Philbin and Coyle, or whoever the coaches may be next year, consider it. This year's front 7 hasn't exactly been stellar, or consistent for that matter.

I agree with you but I don't see Starks and Soliai both being here next year. I would say Vernon replaces Starks on your line.

I think he may be able to turn into one but you are right. the 34 is a bad system for him unless he goes to olb but who knows
