you are all forgetting about could be the steal of the 2006 nfl draft:Brad Smith. The missouri qb who works with nothing but still manages to get 200 yards against Nebraska who had a top 10 rush defense going into the game. Most of you haven't watched any of his games but he can throw the ball too. I think he is better than Vince Young

Of course being from Oklahoma I'm all about the Big 12 but I don't want anyone from the Big 12 playing QB for the Dolphins!!! I mean no one!!!!

If he makes it on our team, you will think differently.

very, very weak armed. will be at another position in the league.

I don't really think anyone considers Brad Smith because there have been talks for awhile that he isn't going to play QB in the NFL. He is most-likely going to be switched to WR just like Matt Jones or Antwaan Randle-El were. He's not even close to Vince Young. His getting 200yds aganst Nebraska's D (I'm assuming you mean 200 rush yards since you point out their RUSH D is top 10) further proves the point that his position will be switched in the NFL. Vince has a MUCH much better shot at being a successful NFL QB than Brad. He's good, but he isn't an NFL QB, much better suited for WR. And I have seen a bunch of his games, being a Longhorns guy myself I pay close attention to the Big 12.

*EDIT* 1,000th post!!!!

He also had like 250 passing yards in that same game. I think he has more than enough arm and always thought he was a McNabb type player. I personaly like this guy alot, he played my highschool when I was a freshman and he was a senior and was amazing. He also made an amazing one handed interception playing OLB.

I think the kid has a ton of talent and his head is definatly on straight coming from a real good family. I wouldn't mind taking a good close look at him come draft day.

He is definately a talented ATHLETE, I just doubt he will be a NFL QB. He could be, I mean, if I knew for sure I could be making good money scouting for a NFL team, lol.

Because I see these teams every weekend due to the fact that there isn't a pro team here so we get all the highlights. Plus a lot of the Big 12 games are shown every Saturday. Vince Young may and I mean may make it as a NFL QB but Brad Smith isn't going to make it. After that the Big 12 has very few quality QB. The kid from Texas Tech may have a shot at it. Oh yea and as for Reggie at Texas A&M he would be the only one that I would feel comfortable with on the Dolpins team because of his arm strength.
