The seats sit way too far away from the playing field. To have a true homefield advantage, the seats need to be closer. Look at the Seahawks Stadium. That Stadium has the seats real close as do most NFL Stadiums. There is no question that our stadium is not one that creates a lot of noise and homefield advantage because of the way it's built.

Wouldnt it be great to see this take change once the Marlins are outta town!

it really doesnt have anything to do with the marlins bc most baseball stadiums have the seats right on the field as well, so they could change it anytime they wanted and it would have no affect wit the marlins......in fact, they might as well do it during the baseball games bc its not like anyone is gonna be there.

Our seats could be a little bit closer but for the most part, our stadium is fine. We lack homefield advantage because we have a bunch of fairweather fans who never fill the place. It was horrible to watch our home games in 2004 and even last year because HALF the seats were always empty. When that stadium is full, it gets LOUD.

Also, the Seahawks stadium is simply stunning. I love how you can always see the skyline of the city in the background and it just all around just looks great.

uh i think he is trying to say that maybe the fans will start being more into the game and into the team at home games maybe after its dolphin only stadium.

PLEASE for those of you who have season tickets, or who have single game tickets GET THAT CROWD GOING! i live in Tucson, Arizona, and i sit on my couch and watch games, and i yell my freaking brains out. i want to see some opposing teams have to call time outs and get false starts because of crowd noise. Miami is already a tough place to win because of the heat, but you who are able to go to the games need to make it damn near impossible! IF YOU SEE PEOPLE NOT GETTING INTO IT, CONFRONT THEM!!!! get EVERYONE around you fired up and loud. it not only makes it hard on the other team but it fires up our guys as well! COME ON NOW!

I remember watching a game when Marino was still playing, the crowd was too loud to anybody to hear anything and the refs warned Shula to get the crowd under control. Even Marino tried, but eventually the refs became fed up and flagged the Fins for a personal foul.

I don't understand exactly how they adjust the stadium between baseball and football ... can anyone describe how they do it or give pictures?

the lower level on the visiter side are retractable seats. they get pushed back to make left field. i am a season ticket holder & it always seems loud to me. when you watch on tv, the crowd noise seems muffled. plus, 1/4 of the people there are for the other team. welcome to florida. :dolphins:

how do you flag a team because of its fans. That is the dumbest thing I have heard, any ref who does that should get fired.

Yep...its pretty sad. I think they have more fan support from the TV viewers than the local fair weather fans. Before you bite my head off....the proof is in the stands....no fans....no support.

I went to the MNF Eagles game where there were more Eagles fans than Fins fans. The number one problem with the Stadium is that the fans in the local area are apathetic. I live in Eagle's country and these people here are rabid even in bad years. Home fans for the Fins just don't have the same intensity.
