The other teams with a 2 or 3 win record....we are so much better than they are

It's so FRUSTRATING for me to see the other 2 and 3 win teams in the NFL right now b/c in my opinion we are so much better than them. Does it frustrate you all as much as it does me?

I know that we can use our schedule as a scapegoat b/c our 4 losses were to teams w/a combined record of 19-5, but I hate to do that b/c in reality it doesnt matter we still have to win. I just hate that we are considerd in the same level as these teams, the only team that I would possibly question whether we are better than is the Bears. Hopefully we can prove it on the field in the 2nd half of the season starting this week.

It should even out somewhat by the end of the season, but we really do have a difficult schedule, and we've made some critical mistakes. We're good enough to beat any team in the NFL (we showed that in the first half of the NO game), but we're not good enough to beat them if we're making crucial mistakes (see the 2nd half of that same game).

Also, it doesn't help when the Refs blow obvious calls.

We're better than alot of teams in the NFL but that gets you nothing if you don't prove it on the field. A 16 game season doesn't allow alot of wiggle room with mistakes, especially in a talented AFCE.

It makes this game with the Jest's almost a playoff game for us, if we lose I have a real hard time believing we have any shot at a plyoff spot with 5 losses and 9 games to go.

Gotta string together 4-5 wins now that we put ourselves into this kind of a hole. If we get through the next 2 then it's very possible, but I really don't see us going into NE and winning the game.

Hmmm...perhaps we can partition commissioner Goodell to put an asterisk next to our record indicating that we are better than them so non-Dolphin fans won't consider us their level.

In other words, "Who cares if people think we aren't better than our 2-4 record?" At the end of the season it IS the record that determines who gets into the playoffs.

Our record by the end of the season will probably be better reflective of how good we are. A 9-7/10-6ish team is usually pretty competitive with anyone, but shot itself in the foot throughout the season for a few unnecessary losses.

What bugs me is that a few crucial plays will likely end up costing us the playoffs this year. If we do miss them, I don't think it will be by more than one game. But that's how it is every year, for one team or another.
