The Palm Beach Post considers RT Ja'Wuan James a candidate for a 2018 extension.

James is out for the year after landing on IR. He was a top-five pass blocker before going down, but the Dolphins aren't as high on him as his PFF grades. James is signed through 2018 at $9.3 million. He's likely to target the five-year, $33.75 million deal Bryan Bulaga got from the Packers.

he's a solid RT, if we can reduce that $9.3m cap hit...i'm all for it.

The problem is he's injured so till he's not injured anymore he can't be release without taking the cap hit so that could come down to a settlement.

I wish there was truly the same passion in getting rid of Pouncey.

He has garnered so much support from the staff that it has made fans start to believe he is good, even when they know he's not. Silencing the critics and making them turn their efforts to other players to satiate their blood lust.
