The party's over for Philbin and company

Wow some of you guys make it seem like Philbin played a prank on Martin to see how weak kneed he was - Philbin has to rethink this Sherman hire that's for sure but no one could have predicted that Martin would fold like a chair over a prank...

Hey, I'm with you. I dont think Philbin is the right coach for this team. But I also don't think we should be digging up such personal stuff on him. His failings as a coach are apparent enough.
Point well taken. I am just angry at what he has done with this team. And the truth is, I never wanted him here in the first place. He really didn't do anything in Green Bay.

Kick Mr. Rogers out the door and get a coach who is passionate and has a set.

My biggest problem with Philbin is that he's a hypocrite. He didn't want people like Brandon Marshall or Vontae Davis on the team...heck, he didn't even give them the benefit of the doubt. Then he doesn't do anything to stop bringing in a guy like McKinnie.

I don't know what Ross is thinking or what might happen. But I would not fire this coaching staff, nor do I agree that wheels are coming off. Shat happens in every locker room. Martin is not a vet leader that this team depends on, nor is he irreplaceable.

Charger fans wanted Smith gone in the worst way... He destroyed that team by canning Schottenheimer after a 14-2 season and replacing him with NORV. No thanks.

So you're saying a GM that built a team that went 14-2...u don't want that guy? Ok. I disagree.

I still hope we win. I don't understand why fans would want a team to lose?

Give me Jay if we are going for a Gruden. If you want respect from the players, you don't want Jon. He was absolutely loathed by his players in Tampa. Remember when they had to bench Keyshawn Johnson for several games because of insubordination?

And Derrick Brooks and others have some absolutely incredibly awful things to say about the way he treated them. Be careful what you wish for.

The Only guy I want here is TONY DUNGY. Gruden is not a good coach, he inherited a monster defense put together by TONY DUNGY, Gruden won a SB with the exact team and offensive plays DUNGY made for the team. If you guys don't believe that just analize what happened after that, DUNGY made the SB and built one of the best franchises in the Indianapolis Colts, and Gruden went down to the toilet with the raiders. I personally don't want Gruden in here I want the master TONY DUNGY.

A big part of that was Schottenheimer. And I think that was LTs best year, which was not Smith's pick. The team got worse and worse over time and his picks sucked after awhile. To top it off, he is very abrasive and an *******. The players hated him. I lived in San Diego for several years and locals couldn't wait for him to get fired

Lol, you don't think some guy named PEYTON Manning had something to do with that? I'm sure if Gruden had Manning he would have won anther Super Bowl too. And again, the team Gruden helped put together in Oakland made the Super Bowl too,

I couldnt disagree more with the OP, but I'm really not going to get into it at 8am. This team has not quit on Philbin, not even a little.

True. And Philbin was instrumental and getting him off the team.

Philbin is a lost cause. We should have known when he had to use cue cards to give a victory speech during our 3 wins... If that looks strange to us, imagine how that looks to the players!
That is what I have been saying all along. Not even high school coaches have to read their victory speeches off of cue cards. C'mon man!! He gotta go. Dolphins are going to get an up close and personal look at the coach they should have hired. Mike Zimmerman of the Bengals. Those dudes on defense will run through a brick wall for that man.

We shall see. Tonight will be telling
