7 points in 2 games against division opponents. Outdueled by a PS QB and a God Awful Geno Smith. Couldn't get inches….AND LOST A YARD on that 4th down call.

Philbin needs to FIRE him.

60% chance of getting to the playoffs and what happened? 0% chance we're in now.

Someone get the banners/ planes up. NOW.

Either Ireland or Philbin need to pull the plug on Sherman. This guy is a predictable joke! I've been a Dolphins fan for 31 years and I am very close to saying f#@& it at this point. Im embarrassed that I root for this worthless sack of s#!t that we call a team today!

Yea I couldn't believe he missed that block on 4th and 1 but I was even more upset that he threw 3 picks......can't blame the OC when the Franchise plays like that.....he missed too many open receivers, the QB gets the glory when the team wins, he should get the blame when the team losses two games and scores 1 TD, this one is on RT he has got to play better in a big game......

Yeah, but Sherman sucks!

It's not just Sherman. It's the entire staff.

The offense and defense have both sucked their way to numerous losses these years. Sure, it could very well be that we have coordinators who suck, but the one common theme between them is that they are under Philbin who is ultimately responsible.

Wide receiver screen on a 3 and short ??? Wide Receiver sreen on a 2 and 20?? Sherman is terrible!

It's absurd to me to just pick Mike Sherman as the sole culprit for what's wrong with this team.

I don't think Sherman has done a particularly good job and I thought the playcalling today was as bad as I've ever seen by Miami, but I don't understand how you can look at this team and say "Yes, just fire the offensive coordinator and everything will suddenly be fixed!"

7 points in 2 games, that's absurd...

The players look worse when plays that have no chance to succeed are called. It's a matter of priority. Are the players a big part of the problem? Absolutely. But it is the coaches responsibility to put the players in the best possible position to succeed. Sherman certainly does not do that.

There's simply no excuse for the performances we've seen the past 2 weeks against two very weak opponents and 2 of the lowest rated QB's in the league. We went 1-4 against 2 horrible teams that have more problems than we have.

Although, as embarrassed as I am for the offense personnel, I am more embarrassed for the defense. That's 2 weeks in a row the likes of CJ Spiller and Bilal Powell have been dragging defenders 5 yards+ down the field, making me look like the 2nd coming of Earl Campbell. They are freaking speed back, not power backs! EMBARRASSING.

To sum up from above, the first priority should be a competent offensive coordinator. The second priority should be defensible players that have heart and can tackle. The third is better offensive personnel. Obviously better onlineman, but a QB that can throw with accuracy down the field, IF Tannehill cannot develop that skill himself.

People only see the worst of what they see as the problem. If we go through a game without allowing a sack, our o-line isn't an issue, nevermind if they didn't run block, if they comprimised the passing game by giving the QB and weapons less than 2 seconds. If we only allow 19 points, defense did a great job, nevermind that they allowed a vast majority of 3rd downs to be converted, that most of the time the opponent got the ball he kept it for long drives, or that they failed to contribute any turnovers or negative yardage plays that could have changed the tide of a game. If the offense struggles to get points, they are doing terrible, nevermind if they started at their own ten every drive of a quarter due to poor defensive play and negative ST plays.

Every component of this team has failed as much as the next. I don't see how people can see a defense leaving receivers wide open every third down that even the worst QB in the league can hit because he hasn't been sacked all day and think that DC isn't an issue either, but all I can do is hope to educate.

Both this week and last week.

Simply put. This team was not prepared nor motivated. This is entirely on the coaching staff.

The game plan sucked and the play calling stunk. We should easily score 20 points.

1 win.....thats all we needed.

Sherman must go......probably Philbin also...........
