on how they treated this game...

From the way Miami owned them early in the game...

from the bullcrap touchdown they gave to Branch and Brady...his arm clearly hit the ground out of bounds...

to taking out their starters so darn early when there was seeding to play for

to the circus drop kick...

to the putting in Branch at the end of the game to try and get a score...

Two words...

I disagree! Bill was smart the way he played his players to not risk injury. Flutie's drop kick was funny I thought. It was a nice way to end his football career.

Branch's knee hit inbounds before the arm hot out of bounds....one knee equals two feet.

With all the inujuries the Patriots have had this year I don't blame themfor wanting to get out of there healthy.

I actually laughed my *** off when Flutie did that drop kick.

I don't think it was bush...I think it was a team wanting to protect their starters.

We'll see how it plays out...

now they have to play Jacksonville, Indianapolis on the road and probably Denver on the road...

they could have hosted the Steelers, played Denver on the road and not seen Indy until the AFC title game...

I think that is a mistake, but we'll see...Also Brady getting a series doesn't exactly keep your players in a rhythm...

If they lose next week or the following one...I'll be laughing my butt off.

Same goes for next year or the year after when they can't buy a win against Saban. :sidelol:

I think if anything we should feel uneasy for allowing their 2nd/3rd string offense close in on our lead...

The Patriots looked foolish today. They know that they were looking at next's year's AFC East Champs. The Patriots can only pull-off their circus sideshow wins for so long. They are going to lose in the playoffs this season, and then they are going to start to watch their "dynasty" continue to collapse. Over the next 4 seasons, the Patriots are going to get worse and worse. They had their time.

And I agree. There were calls all day that were obviously in favor of the Patriots. The Branch TD catch (please:fire: ), the hold on Jeno James, and the roughing the passer call on JT. If you get those calls right, you would add a TD, subtract a field goal from Miami and a TD from NE, and Miami wins 32-13. The Patriots sucked today.

I don't agree. I wasn't insulted by anything the Patsies did. I think their coach and his record the past four years earns him the benifit of the doubt. In a way, I thought we would do better against their 2nd and 3rd stringers, but we struggled. I think we still have some work to do this off-season and I hope some of our players agree.

That is what you are supposed to believe. Don't be a sheep. Miami played far better than the Patriots today.

No,no,no. If we had won today we would be playing pitt instead of the jags in the first round. What do you guys want a medal or something for beating our Junior Varsity team?

What did you expect them to do?
Sure his arm "clearly" hit out of bounds. Rightafter his kneww hit first. Saban never thought about throwing the red flag out.
What seeding? Either way, they host a game next week.
If we had done the drop kick thing, it would have been the neatest thing in the world.
And putting Branch back in? Geez, you bitched when they took them out and you're bitching that they put them back in! You really want it both ways? if ya want to *****, ***** about us not being able to really bust'em in the mouth !! ;)

I agree on a few points

1- We did play well against them early *although owned isnt the way to put it*

2- They should have played their starters

3- It shouldnt have been a TD

But calm down the drop kick was cool, its not like it gave them any more points than an extra point would have, its probally something Doug has always wanted to do

Yes, they did play far better...

and they also put in on cruise control...I am not at all bothered about how they played against backups...

Branch finished the season with 998 yards. They were trying to get him over a thousand.

I would pull my starters too. And like someone else said, I laughed at the drop kick. It was cool to see Flutie do that.
