What was New England that year, 0-4 when Bledsoe was sucking out the joint? Brady came off the bench and never want back. I'm not saying Joey is Brady and I know there are so many other problems on this team other than the Q/B but every fire has to have an ignition source. There has to be some way to at least begin to turn it around and I think Joey gives us that chance. At lease he can get the hell out of his own way when he needs too.

This is why Bellichek never would have traded for Culpepper.. Culpepper is a Bledsoe type player.. Unfortunately, I dont think Joey is a Brady type player.

No they were 0-2 losing at the time to the lowly bengals in week 1 and then to the jets. It was that game with the jets that Mo Lewis changed the face of the team in NE and I can't thank him enough. Without his hit on Bledsoe we most likely would have waited another yr or two to see Tom Brady as our starter. I think that Belichick wasn't ever really sold on Bledsoe from the time he had spent around the pats as DC but he was preparing to bring Brady along slow. Fate stepped in that day in NJ and Belichick never looked back, he was so convinced that Bledsoe wasn't a threat he traded him to an AFC EAST opponent and well we all saw what Drew did for the bills. Sometimes the team needs to be shocked and a message sent out that you either perform on the field or you get the bench. I don't know if Harrington is the answer for the phins but at this stage in the season I don't see where your team really has anything to lose.

our d is playing great, no d is perfect. my god , we are asking them to win the game. the offense is the problem and usually the qb is the first to go..........we have to do something and i agree. change the qb. lets get some play action. Saban, lets see if you have the ***LS to change

the D couldn't stop the pass at all in the second half

The D is not the issue. I can garuntee you that 9 out of 11 people on the field give 10% less when they know they have no shot at winning. I would feel pretty sick of working so hard to have nothing shown for it in the end.

The defense has been playing fine. How about our offense. Houston has the worst defense in the entire league and they held us to 15 points.

Put in Harrington, at the bare minimum he can get us 21 points a game with the talent we have. This is pathetic. At 21 points a game from our offense we would be 4-0. That is how pathetic our QB situation is. Our oline is no worse than last year, they are just exposed by a slow thinking and indecisive QB behind center.
