well its a long offseason and i was just thinking back to the 80's and 90's when we represented the probowl with more then one or two players i know it seems like a few lifetimes ago.
with the players on our roster as of today who do you see as the next pro bowl player besides jt.i would like to see a few on the o side of the ball but that might not b for a few years to come:hi5:
how about
ginn
henne
brown

merling
taylor
allen

I might get flamed for this, but I believe Beck has as much capability of becoming a Pro Bowler as anyone else on the Fins. It may not BE with the Fins, and it's no certainty (is anyone???), but he could be there. I'd love for it to be with the Fins, however.

Last season was the first time since the 1998 Pro Bowl that we did not have multiple players representing the Dolphins in the Pro Bowl.

Ginn could make it as a special teammer with improved blocking.
Henne...
Brown will have to stay healthy for 16 games and put up similar type numbers he did the first half of last season.

Merling...
Taylor...
Allen...which Allen?

Too often we flame because of an opinion. I dont totally agree but qb is a very hard position to scout. Nobody thought Ryan leaf would be a bust. Many times teams are more lucky than good when scouting qb's. Tom Brady, Tony Romo and matt Hasselback were all guys that not one GM thought would be the very good players they are. This post should also add to my beck bashing reputation although the one Im replying to is probably intelligent enough to know better.

Don't forget to add Farve, Montana, Marino, and a lot of other QBs taken no where near top of their class. But on the pro-bowl note, how about Satele? he seems to be earning a fast reputation. If the ground game goes well you can also pencil in Smiley.

Ronnie Brown i think would be the strongest possibility. If he's healthy he's going to get a lot of touches, and if he plays anything like last year that's going to mean some big numbers.

i see vernon carey becoming a probowl rt this yr. it's his fourth yr and second at rt which he did a very good job at and now with the addition of smiley he will only be better.

Yea have to agree I think it will be Carey or someone else from the O-Line

Truthfully, I think Jason Allen may make it (maybe not this year, but definitely in the near future). He seemed to finally come on last season and who knows how he will do with a full season of starting. I think now that he is sticking at one position he will finally shine. That being said, if Wiill Allen can start actually catching the interceptions (as opposed to deflecting them) he will go to the Pro Bowl for sure.

maybe not this upcoming season, but i can see Big Jake Long going to the Pro-Bowl and becoming a fixture there.

Offense
Ronnie brown
Ginn (later in his career)
Jake long

Deffense
Joey Porter
Merling
Jason and will allen
and possibly channing crowder

all of this guys i think can make it later in the career but there are a couple that i can see going this year

Best Chance this year would be a healthy Ronnie Brown

Jason Taylor will make it on Name alone
Porter has a shot if he gets back to Pitt form

Ginn needs to make it on ST if anywhere, Uphill Battle with Cribbs, Washington and McGee

Satele has a shot I would think

I dont see long making it for a bit reason is Thomas will be a lock unless he is hurt, Peters will be there again dont know how many LT they take every year.
