Thats great that next year we will have alot of cap space, Saban can pick up a big name player, like Reggie Wayne or some O Lineman or maybe Bress, that is of course IF he proves hes not a 1 year wonder.

Signing a 1st round QB should be no problem since we are projected to be $25million under right?

Hopefully we wont have to get rid of JT, maybe Tebucky will go.

I don't consider Reggie Wayne a big time player.

I think Wayne is good on the Colts, but he could get "Peerless Price Syndrome" real quick on another team.

We are projected at $5 million over the cap right now. It will take some cuts and restructuring, but we COULD be as much as $25 million under.

Yeah could is right but i have a gut feeling that could will turn into a probably.

If we do end up having about 25 million to spend next offseason, then we must go after a productive QB and a some productive OL.

Who are the top offensive lineman available?

I'd love a little Walter Jones or Orlando Pace.

Anyone know who's can be had?

I agree that if we are that far under the cap, and I really mean a big "IF", we should get our QB of the future and some solid help on the o-line. We already know that Saban will address the depth issues thru the draft and if he does like this year, if would be awesome.

This is the strongest o line draft in a very long time. Usually good LTs dont hit FA market but I guess that might be effected some by the strong draft. My guess is still that if we want a good tackle we have to draft him.

It's fun to think of the possibilities. With some money to spent, Saban and company could put this team in contention real quickly. Granted, it's probably fair to guess that Gus Ferrotte will be the quarterback again next year with a young qb in the wings. I hope Taylor and Thomas can hold on for a few more years because I think this team could be a legit super bowl contender by 2007. I'm really impressed with the moves Saban has made, the kind of player he has brought in, the coaching staff etc. The pieces will come together fairly quickly IMO.

I think Taylor will rework his contract to better suit the Dolphins needs to stay in South Florida. He is worshipped here and his family is here. You know his brother ZT and his wife and what not.
