So it has been suggested we are taking a rebuilding course of action. letting go of some older players, possibly drafting a qb to sit for a year and develop, etc.

Heres the problem: after this year the majority of our best young players are free agents. This includes Long, Bush, Hartline, Wake, and more.

If we aren't trying to win now, things only get worse next year. How are we going to sign all of those guys? Im hoping maybe the reason Bell was cut and no big $ qb was signed is so that we can spend some of the dough to resign some of these guys who will otherwise be gone after this season.

Great point! We need to lock Long, Bush and Wake down for the long term!

The problem with rebuilding is we've been doing it since Marino left. No identity, style or dedication to a system for any significant amount of time.

Problem with rebuilding is that the rebuilding is being made by the same person over and over, and never ends building anything....

Yeap.

Eventually you have to build something.

I love how we all keep saying this this and this "since Marino left" and we've yet to do anything to replace Marino.

The Dolphins aren't rebuilding.

The Dolphins are imploding, and will continue to implode.

Things will get worse. It's inevitable. Just watch

Good luck with that one. As long as this franchise is swirling in the toilet, they are waiting to become free agents so that they can get the hell out of Dodge.
