The QB is important

For those of us still experiencing the Marino hangover, we need no convincing. But there is still a vocal minority that insist that our team's problems result from a lack of playmaker at some other positiom (i.e. top-flight offensive tackle, powerhouse nose tackle, shut-down corner, Terrell Owens).

Witnessing what Sage did today should show us all that good quarterback play completely redefines who this team is. We can be a very dangerous team that can succeed in the 4th quarter, no matter what the score is. Without this, we can't be consistently competitive in these situations. Even decent consistent quarterback play will make us very good.

So if there's a QB that our staff believes in at our draft position, you absolutely have to take him. It's worth the gamble.

Yup, we've been mucking around without a true star QB for 5-6yrs now. Now is the time we need a good young franchise QB to be selected. We have decent players at the skill positions. Defense can be built through FA and future drafts.
