Its been asked ... fandom doesn't want to hear it. WHY would he even consider incentives when all will pay CASH??

Bigger Question: Where would you want to play for if you were Manning ... to win fame & glory ... all will pay alot of money.

Build a dock wherever he wants and ask him what color should the yacht be. Peyton, what color do you feel goes best with green interior?

I was one of the ppl a few months ago that thought there's no way this guy can be healthy enough by September to play again. Boy was I wrong. He is simply amazing. Even with that crappy video, you'd have to blind to not see he's pretty much back now, yet alone in September.

IMO there must be something Peyton has that is calming these teams. Either a MRI result or a video he has of himself working out or something. But you don't hear any noise about him not being ready to go any more.
 
You can't measure arm strength from an MRI, and those videos could have been selectively edited.

If we get to that point it means Peyton wants to play for us and then it's just a matter of negotiating something that works for both sides. Once we get to the point where Peyton says "I want to play for the Dolphins but this contract doesn't work for me" then it's just a matter of making the contract work. I can tell you that at least a dozen players on the Fins roster will restructure their contracts if it means playing with Peyton Manning...this is a non-issue.
 
No, the issue for me is putting up a bunch of money for someone who may never have the same arm he had again and may be more injury-prone than the average 36-year-old QB. And the more I read, the more I suspect that Peyton is going to get away with not throwing a single practice session to stress-test that arm before he signs. He may be conning us.
 
Again , its not the money alone .Pat kirwan reported he does not want to release any info on his arm before the contract.
that is the medical info that is the block.

also , adam schefter said one more issue is the same harbaugh and fisher had signing as HC.Its kinda in between the lines .
 
I'd rather take a chance on even a 60% Peyton Manning than on any backup in the league. The idea that we need to play it safe with the most important position in football makes zero sense to me. Playing it safe has given us a completely **** team for the past decade. A good GM makes it happen. A ****ty one makes excuses, denies interest, or worst of all, actually has no interest.

On that note, I keep reading that "Manning chooses the team." **** that. A good GM makes it happen. A good GM turns the table. If Ireland can't get this done, it's on him 100%.
